A quick guide to stop everyone asking how to patch with DKZ Studio. Hopefully this should put an end to the "How to with dkz files Qs!"

I know i have added the link to this guide in a thread or so but it seems to me that not many people are reading the whole thread.

Anyhow here it is:

Nice guide farenheit and much needed as a lot of people that were used to ppf-patches have been having problems using DkZ Studio.

I'm new to PES5 editing and I've just got DKZ studio and a patch. Everytime I try to apply the patch, DKZ closes down with an error noise.

Hope you can help, Joe

Ive been out of the scene since PES 4!!
Believe it or not, ive only known DKZ Studio since the
release of PES 5! I didnt find it much of a problem tho'
but there were many peeps who were struggling, so
hence the Guide.

There is no error message, it just makes an error noise and the program closes down everytime I click apply patch to image. If I try to apply the patch to a foler it lets me find the folder, then when I click 'ok' error message '0' pops up.

Hope you can help.

I appreciate all of the heard work done to get all of this stuff going, thanks. I was wondering though, how do you apply multiple patches before burning, or can it be done? Appreciated.

If you want to apply multiple patches, you just apply them 1 over the other but you have first make sure you apply them in the order YOU want them.

I.E

If for example you want JonBoyos music instead of the music in a monster patch, then you would apply the Monster patch 1st then jonboyos NOT the other way around. <- make sense?

Oh, and you must close the last patch after you have applied it, by clicking on the x in the top right hand corner of the PATCH WINDOW.

Wow!

Just downloaded the guide and I have to say that this guide makes it all look easy.

I was sceptical about using DKZ Studio patches but now, I think I'll give it a go.

when i click in file>export iml file,a windown pop up asking me where is the image...but my image isn't in *.iml
what do i need to do ??

Good Work, mate. In your guide, i see step three and my patch is WEAMERICA. When i open weamerica.rar, open a folder with tolls...and some files separeteded the others....(example: 0_Text.afs, F_Text.afs, etc). Not in folders (i see in your guide this files in folders..). How do i apply? I don´t know...

Does anyone in here know how to use or what to open in DKZ to personally edit the player stats and team formations? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
