Do you find PES3 difficult?

I've read about people who were good at pes2 on this site, and can't get the hang of pes3....Is anyone the same.I'm not,I only lost three games in my masterleague in the div 1 season with the poor team, and won the league

comparing PES3 with PES2 , PES3 is more difficult. but if you compare it with WE7 , WE7 is more difficult. if you play PES3 in 5* is like playing WE7 something beetwen 3* and 4*.

I had a short period of getting use to it but now I'm playing just as usual. My first game was on 3* against Ac Milan and I got whooped so I had about 5 or so games on 2* and got accustom to it, moved up a level and so on, and so forth...

I did find it a massive step up from PES2 and WE6FE! But i just kept playing and playing and just got good at it. Its hard to adjust to it.

I'm finding the learning curve a LOT steeper. I was pretty good at all the previous incarnations since ISS Pro Evo 1 on PSone. This one's different though

I was pretty good on PES1, so when I got PES2 I did find it a little tricky at first, but soon got the hang of it.

On PES3 I'm struggling on 3 stars. 2 stars is easy, but when I play on 3 stars I seem to draw 0-0 every time.

Its very difficult.

PES is unbelievably easy.

the computer doesnt know how to attack.

evan against real madrid, 5 star, with all their players on red stars they still hardly get near my box.

On any difficulty on PES3 the computer hardly ever attacks you, the thing i find difficult is scoring! I started a master league game on 4* played about 10 games and didn't score a single goal! Its easier on 3* though, im going to play that until i have a good team then try 4*!

I have to say that the computer isn't particularly bright at attacking no matter what rating it's set to. I play on 5* but the computer nearly never scores through its own good play, more likely a mistake by me.

I find defending quite difficult in PES3..i already expected attcking will be more harder then PES2...i was king of dribbles in PES2 taking on 3 defenders on 5*..now it's only random if the cpu in PES3 if they let you trick them. More passing is needed to require a goal...something a dribbler does not want to do errrrr!! Sometimes shooting can be tricky also...your only a few yards from goal .. you tap..and it comes off flying..so you have to be wary facing goal when shooting...but i have an ambition to master 5* within a month!!

I haven't gone up to 5* on ML yet, overall I'm finding it slightly more difficult than PES2 so it's a longer settling-down time.

Defence is tough if you try to run up behind a CPU player and take the ball, they shield it well. You seem to have to leave some space between you and them until you are at least level. Failing that, try to guide them on a path away from where they want to go, then try to intercept their pass.

Ive been playing it solidly and was getting really frustrated because i just could not get the hang of pes3 after being a master of all things pes right back to iss.

then suddenly i cracked it, and im really not sure how, all i know is im destroying the competition once again.

if your struggling all i can think of is to try and be less direct on your attacks by retaining possession and hardly using the r1 button at all.

good tip, thats part of the realism of the game though - how often in real football do u get to run at your full speed?

only when youre in space, just like on pes3 (not like fifa where u can leg it down the middle and score a wonder goal 9 times out of 10.)

I was an R1 abuser in pes2, but in pes3 u cannot do that anymore. try to use combination R2 and L1 to control the ball and pass to ur teammate to find the chance of shoting. now i can win 2-0 at 4* level most of the time

everyone was an r1 abuser in pes1/2 cos the game let u get away with it. now i rarely use it cos u just run into tackles.

im still on 3* level on pes3, im working hard to get up to level 4! im not the best player but i enjoy it so theres no problem 4 me.

i have problems craking the defence sumtimes, its way more realistic. Just like real life (if your a good footballer) u might be spoiled for tricks. In pes3/we7 if your face to face with ya defender or sumffin try and practice differnt tricks and stuff. Like in real life u can meg people well in pes3/we7 just work out when its going to be convineate to use!!

Other then tricks, u can try keeping possesion of tha ball and pass it round. Then try and get closer to the box and you'll find that u will have many options to take, like real life make sure u take tha best 1 :)
