I use the stick, and i find manual passing better than normal because you have complete control over it. Mind you i only use it for long ground passes.
i own a ps3 but i have play on my mates xbox 360 regularly
i was playin pes2008 and you are kind of pressured to use the analog stick cos the dpad sucks and since i played on my mates Xbox 360 i use analog on my ps3
its much better
hardly use the manual pass
a bit confusing
only use it for freekicks to pass back but same with me its not always good
Stick. Never liked the D-Pad for this sort of game. Just doesn't feel right.
I use manual passes when I know a regular pass is not going to take the lane I want. The players never move to where it looks like they're going when I make the pass, though, so I don't know why I bother. :^/
I didn't know what the manual pass move was at first. (Using the right analogue stick, pointing and then clicking down).
I had heard of it but never knew what it was. So i experimented with it yesterday. Its bought a whole new light on the game. Im trying new techniques so that it will help me in gameplay.
For example, i tried to manual pass under the freekick wall if the freekick was just outside the box, it worked once.
Same, however I did give the stick a little go. I used to find the Xbox d-pad annoying, but I'm used to it now. I also tried using manual pass, but I find the non-manual passes to work better for me.
