does anyone know how to turn off the computer making tactical decisions

hey everyone,

I decided to play one game in coach mode to see what it was like, then when I changed it back so I was actually playing, for some reason the computer keepschanging tactics, making substitutions etc, I have been playing 3 or 4 games just hoping I would get lucky and it would stop, but it still hasn't, anyone got any advice??

Oh it makes subs FOR you, I see... There is a setting in the pre match menu, I believe it's something like "Auto formation" or words to that effect and you just need to switch it off. Althought I may be thinking of PES 6 as I haven't played 09 for a while.

Think I've sorted it, I think when you change to the coach mode the game automatically changes the controller support settings in the pre match team setup area, I changed the controller support to manual and unchecked the auto sub and auto form change boxes, hope this works, going to play a match now and check it out, I'll post what happened :laugh:

Must be a bug, glad you sorted it!

But be careful not to "double post" on here, you may get in trouble. (If you can you should edit your previous post into the one before)

The computer makes loads of changes compared to me in Master League. I love it how the manager must have lost his marbles or his team-sheet for not having made changes at half-time if you're 1-0 down.

Yeah, because Wenger and Fergie tend to panic after 45 minutes. Not.
