I believe the thursday release was the 1.01 DLC with the fixed AI, keepers, and that facebook thing.
onlyproevos had this on the official release up on that site
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH will release the eagerly-awaited PES 2012 for PlayStation(R)3, Xbox 360(R) and Windows PC this coming Thursday, 29th September.

As football fans flock to experience the most realistic football title to date, KONAMI has announced that new users can add a number of key elements to the game via a free download. The myPES system will be available in an initial Beta form, allowing users to create an account and exchange data with Facebook to share results and post them to other users. The full service which will incorporate various statistics, achievements as well as the ability to create private and public game groups will then launch in October. KONAMI has also made a few tweaks to the Active AI element, with goalkeepers the main beneficiaries with their AI enhanced even further.

PS3 users will also benefit from 3D support, with the download adding 3D functionality to those with 3D TVs.

Yeah think the keepers are really great this year. Have played 20 matches in ML and haven't seen any bloopers yet.

Some people are saying that the American version won't get the roster update until November and others are saying that we'll get it when the UK version is released.

I'm hearing so many mixed reviews of the 1.01 patch. Some say the keepers are way better, some say they're still just as bad as the demo. Which is it?

The patch has been released, it was actually released 2 days earlier, on Tuesday, and it added a few things like MyPes but it was also the patch for the Goalkeepers which you will see have improved but only in certain ways, they are pulling off more dramatic saves but Konami have managed to allow keepers to just allow soft shots to roll past their feet and dive after the ball has passed them and in the net, it's a bloody joke. On top of this I was hoping for better animations in the patch, I have said it before on this forum but the game looks rushed out and unfinished.

So we have had the 'wonderful' patch but this game needs another patch quickly to clear up all the bugs plaguing this game!
And I don't even want to talk about online, it's dreadful.

Im so fucking tired of Konami when it comes to one thing.

Is it really hard to officially announce a patch and then release it the day you wrote when you would release it?

I mean are thee only kids on the board og this company.

We also need independent reviewers of games. Not childish FIFAn00bfanboys just interested i getting the game earlier year after year.

No complaints with the keepers here. The game does have some bugs but what I think is more important right now is a proper roster.

I seem lately to not want to pass on joining in on a dig at Konami's customer service. It is unbelievably bad. No roster updates until November? That is insane. What they have done to xbox game owners with the running bug is almost class action suit worthy. Konami's website is third rate at best. I know thousand dollar companies that do a better job on their website.

and calling them kids is probably too good for them. I bet we can find kids who update rosters from raw data at Goal.com more often than they do.

They are awfully proud of the PESMe facebook thing aren't they. Please, no one fall into the trap and begin using it - that could be a mini protest of sorts.
