Does PES3 Cheat you?

You'll post a replay of what exactly? Every chance that you saved? Were you planning this all? "Hmmm, I think I'll make the COM cheat in this game and save things accordingly. They'll have to believe me then."

No - we won't.

Today, I won a match in which the COM dominated me for 85 minutes. I scored on 87 minutes. With a penalty. It wasn't a foul. Maybe I should post this as "The Players Are Cheating! COMs All Around the World, You Must Come Together, As An Alliance, and Cheat Back!" Yes. Let's all start posting threads about cheating that equates to the precise square root of sweet fuck all.

The game doesn't cheat. If this apparent cheating has started happening more often, it means you're getting worse at the game, and perhaps to heighten your enjoyment more you should move the game down a star rating or two.

"Ooooh. The game cheated me. Again. They won. This happened before as well. They scored. That's not fair. Only I'm allowed to score. That's the rule. This game must be cheating."

Jesus Christ - loosen up. Play on 2* a bit, bang in some 30 yarders off of the bar 'n' in, and you'll be happy as Larry. And that Larry, he's a very happy bloke.

bwfcste,

I do know what you're talking about - the outrageous improbability of some results against you in games you've dominated, but I don't know if it is 'cheating' as such. Do these games go the same way - total domination of possession and shots on target, but losing to the COM's only effort - if you let someone else play them?

I think the COM does become much more effective in the last minutes of a game especially when they're going for an equaliser. They start to lock my team into their own half.

Then, if they get down the line for a cross or the ball is bouncing around my area, I just 'know' it'll end in a goal (sometimes an own goal!) or a penalty.

However, it doesn't always work out that way - sometimes (1 in 3?) my defenders get close enough to knock the ball out, or their super-star stiker slices a shot miles wide, or hits the post/bar - I bet the COM feels cheated then!

I think its important to completely demoralise the COM team to avoid them coming back at you - another goal, or failing that, more dominant possession in the opposition half (can anyone explain that split summary)?

And the best defence against a last minute winner or equaliser is a 2 goal lead.

:)
