Does PS2 version play as well as the PSP's??

I bought the PSP version the other day of PES09 and was suitably impressed by it and wondered if the PS2 version plays and handles in a similar way. I bought the 360 version but didn't like it at all.

lol i was going to get the psp version but having read about it and watched vids on youtube it put me off i no commentry 1 statium but i hear people like the ps2 version more but the only thing is the glitches for the ps2 but i play it on ps3 so i dunno really

Yeah the lack of commentary sucks but the game play is superb. Reminds me of the hayday quality of the PS2 versions hence my question!

on the ps2 version you can make logo for kits, Psp version you can't. I have the ps2 version and i just borrow the psp from my friends. psp is good for option file if you don't have max drive.
Game play is basically the same.
