Read this from a FIFA 2004 cover :
For True soccer fans who demand the finest gameplay and in depth game modes, FIFA soccer 2004 is the most complete and authentic soccer experience.
---- not the end but i was sickened of what FIFA's wannabe PES are.

Ya, and Fifa 2004 has prefixed instruction for Corners and Freekicks. This is most absurb and does not require more skill. Seriously, I hope this will not be a trend cause prefixed instructions are only good for robots. I think this thread will be closed soon

i reckon fifa and pes series should keep pushing it self because it just keeps making pes better because if fifa never exsited and it was pes only they wouldn't even bother with liences because they know ppl will still be buying it because the gameplay
now pes must have liences if it want competition with fifa

konami and e.a sports should join forces and create the worlds best football games ever

would be a nice prospect -- but just think -- no competition = little incentive for innovation = worse off in the long-term.

i just wish the next pes will feature a "champios league" in cup mode, where there is at least the 3rd qualifying phase included, and obviously all serious contenders for participation. (that'll include hajduk for season 2004/05 :))

I think certain ppl have said there is no point in all the teams in fifa cos u don't use half of them but they sell FIFA world wide so they have to put as many teams as they can to make ppl around the world happy :)

I have tried the penalty on Fifa, there is not much difference. Hit it in the middle and you can see the clown.

the only thing which FIFA has better are the through balls and the liscenced teams.

somehow i feel fifa through-balls are too effective. in pes, through balls are hard to pull off just as it would be splitting class midfield/defense in the real game.

In PES3, thru balls should be more effective slightly.

Now when you use it u'r just passing to the defender, no more. :(

totally agree dude.it can only work well wen u'r playin on 1*. any other * ur just giving the ball away.
