can sumbody please tell step by step how to download onto the max stick then how it goes onto your memory stick? does it work faster if you have broadband?

There is loads of stuff on the forum for editing about it. But basically, you choose the option file you want, download it somewhere, like my Documents. Next you put your Max Drive in to your USB port and open up my computer. Fin where it is (should be under E drive or called MAXDRIVE i think and open it up. Then, open up the folder where the option file you downloaded is and shrink down both windows until you can fit the both on the screen. Once this is done, COPY across your option file in to the Max drive file. (Basically, from My Documents folder to My Computer where the max drive should be displayed). And that is it.

I had the same trouble and the key is to check what format the option file is. It needs to be in .max to show up on your Max drive. Im not sure what you do if it is'nt but i think there is a program that can change it to the correct file.

Finally, take your max drive out of the USB port and into the playstation USB port, load up the disk that comes with it for the PS2 and open up the max drive in my devices. YOU HAVE TO WAIT A WHILE FOR IT TO SEARCH THROUGH, but once it has, your file should be there. Then all you have to do is delete your existing option file on your memory card and UNCRUSH the one you downloaded on the your memoary card, put in pro evo or whatever game it might be and enjoy!!!


If you cant understand this then, as i said, search through the threads about it but some are pretty complicated!!

The faster the connection, the faster the download is the general rule. Dial-up is very slow compared to broadband.
