Well Ive only played it for what? 1 hour- so far its great but I willl see when I get further in the game

yeah its good fun especially driving, trying to escape someone then its exciting, but there should have been more cities and a load more missions. as for driving though i havent played a better game- have u done a handbrake turn yet, go fast the tap triangle and turn, you have to practice it to get good

asher b, you should just rent it so u can decide to buy. the driving is great and the fmv's i think they are called are also really good

I bought it today. The camera seems annoying at first with on foot movement but for their first time it's great. Also the handling in the cars is pretty unresponsive (I havn't even seen a bike yet) but altogether Im loving it
As a mate was round all I've done so far though is Driving games and Take a ride, so no missions and we've just been pissing about - more detail tomorrow

i dont think it being the first driver on the ps2 is an excuse. just look at how good the first gta on the ps2 was. what makes gta's achievement even better is they went from 2d to 3d very successfully.
some people are saying they like it but havent done hardly any missions. i think they will be in for some shocks as they go frther into the game.

Basicly, I like it - but I can see why it isn't great
Motorbikes arent great, they feel heavy and have nothing on (I feel i'm going to be unfairly comparing these to a lot) the GTA series
The swimming is half plus half negative as it's another new feature but has anyone noticed how when swimming in shallow water you're almost floating above it? Little silly problems like that are quite regular (When you wheelie on a bike into a wall you can often float off above the floor still in the same position you were sitting in on the bike and will land about 30 metres away, it's hard to describe, but it's there)
Another problem with swimming is that when you swim somewhere they don't want you to go.....you die - and that's it?
Sometimes when halfway through a mission you die and have to go back over 54,000 miles away and drive to the place all over again just to get to the place and do the mission you were just at - very annoying
When on a shooting mission on foot (the level where you've gone through that hotel are are trying to get to the car and have now gone down the lift to get into the garage is a good example) if you can get behind some kind of cover and edge your way out slowly you can always get far enough out so they aren't shooting you but you can shoot them - VERY stupid and kind of boring, makes the levels way to easy
But that's about it, that I've seen - i can't be bothered to do the many pluses but Director mode is class I'll add a cool movie up some time later that I've already made
