I heard from a work colleague that he gets cop cars dropping out of no where when he fires the grenade launcher and just sitting there light flashing an' all but not driving anywhere? Happens to anyone else?

Seems like a glitchy game .

Haven't noticed that one mate. I will give it a try. By the way i've spent alot more time on the missions and they do get better. This isn't the greatest game in the world but it is fun and that's what matters.

I Think it was too over hyped its to glitchy and when shooting and on foot Tanners movemnts are a bit stiff, an you know what used to piss me off, when your rushing to get in a car you press X (xbox) an he ends up at the back off the car facing the other way.

The games Alright still.

I'm liking the game so far. The graphics are a bit jaggy and the cities kinda empty but the game is still fun. 7/10 after driving around the city and not touching the missions yet.

i bought the game just now.. and I think there are a lotta improvements from driver 2... after taking a ride.. i rate game....... 8/10

Ai - that's what Id give it, or a 7.5

Without the on foot bits its a sturdy 9/10 or so, when you're actually DRIVING in DRIV3R it does it better then any other and I can't remember there being any glitches. But as soon as you step out....hmm

It's still class at what it's supposed to be class at like I said, once they fix the on foot bits in Driv4r (no wait Driver 4?) it'll be a class game

I recommend buying it. Dont read GameSpot reviews Babaan. The incar action makes up for the walking side of the game. It will be £40 quid well spent.

Has anyone seen the Tommy Vercetti in-game in the take a ride option?

I was playing the game yesterday, just messing about exploring the city of Nice, and i found 2 Tommy Vercettis hanging around the city trying to kill me with a machine gun. When you kill them its says 'You killed Timmy Vermicelli 1 out of 10'. So there are 10 Timmy Vermiclli's as they call him. I wonder if anyone else has seen this or any other in-games?

P.s. im currently in Nice on undercover mode, ive just finished the mission where you have to steal the container fron the yard by the harbour. Theres a Timmy Vermicelli in there. Theres also another one on top of a big hill sitting under a shelter in the park.

Yea I have seem them Timmy guys, hard to kill..there like robots with an M16. I wonder what happens if you kill all 10 of them..

Driver 3 is good, I expected it too be far better, but its still good. What I miss is a nice limo to cruise about in, but they have a nice Bentley type car which is good..

IMO the car speeds are poor, they should have the race cars go much faster, so you can outrace the police, as the police seem to have Ferrari engines.

Cities are big imo, alot of off-road places to cruise about getting chased.

Thing I do hate about the game is the fact the police can see through walls. When my police bar is full I find a nice spot and sit for a while, but when they drive past they come after me?..even though I am through the wall..

Still, its a good game, I aint even tried the missions much, I just like take a ride mode.

My cousin got the game on Friday, and i played it,,,,,,i never had that much time to do any missions except one, it was the last mission, where you have to chase the train...its feckin' hard....the Graphics are amazing, i don’t think I’ve seen better on PS2, i just hope Grand Theft Auto San Andreas has got Graphics this good. i drove a few cars around too, some good cars on the game....i love that slow motion thingy, the one where you press R1 and L1 together at the same time, that’s class, i love it , the thing i don’t like is, the shooting mode, i hat aiming all the time, it should be automatic like the Grand Theft Auto series.....Very good game though, i will get a better play of it next week...

i got it today, its not bad. i got it to pass the time to my holiday i think i'll take it back on friday and take more spending money over there.

dont be put off though, its a very good game, just not outstanding

yeah i agree ive seen better games before its not great but its good about 7/10

Whats Istanbul like? I'm not quite there yet. Is it as intricate as Nice?
