I got it today, its does me head in, I'm upto the level you get the dynamite from the stilted houses bt I keep getting killed, I ain't got a silencer on my gun someone was going on about that should I of picked it up somewhere ??

Ok, what i did was stopped the boat as close to the stilted houses as possible, close enough to be able to shoot the guards but just out of their range. Then press L1 so that you can then walk around the boat and shoot at the guards freely. Take out all you can see (just use the machine gun), you can then park the boat by the house and get out without being shot to pieces. The rest is pretty straight forward.

Cheers for that but I've turned it off for now, so I'll try it tomorrow. I know we've moved on from impressions of the game but I think its quite good the sound track works well, cut scenes are cool obviously with Rhames and Madsen, the cars are a bit skiddy and the walking/aiming is alot better than the getaway but not perfect.

I'm up to the "Alleyways" mission in Istanbul - (chase the bagman)

Finished killing all of the Timmies in Miami last night, although I'll have to kill off the last one again because the game crashed after I blew up one of the super-speed Big Rigs.

I completed the game today. Ive got all the timmies and secret cars. Thats it, all over. I'm not going to ruin things but the end scene suggests it may be all over for tanner too. Or is it?

You dont watch cutscenes much do you? At the very start of the game they show the end scene before it starts and it says 6 months earlier or whatever - are you talking about when he gets shot?

im on the mission where you have to the woman from the stadium with tanner and its bloody annoying! The cars in istanbul handle like shite, you cant turn a corner without powersliding into a lampost or building or something... GGGRRRRRRR

The one with the other black dude chasing the bagman - I'm finding this difficult although I havn't played in ages so I don't expect the woman one to be any walkover next either if it's even harder

Thats the hardest mission for sure, just keep going and you will finaly get a hang of it, it takes a long time, after that the rest of the game is pretty easy.

Feck me the calita chase sucks - i dont really have to bother damaging her car do i i've just gotta keep chasing her until it reaches a cut scene .... right?

I found another Timmy under a bridge you have to swim to it - thats 3 in Istanbul now (and I'm not using a walkthrough)

i just borrowed driv3r of a friend and i have to say i'm dissapointed. it's just boring. there's nothing in the game which makes me think 'wow!!'. The missions are all based around the same principle. drive-run-shoot-repeat. the cities are good it's just a shame there's nothing cool to do in them.

I took it back to Game after about 3 days, theres so many bugs in it, it was doing my head in. The AI is appaling, if you jump over a wall to get away from the polics they just bump into the wall and shoot at it, also I had a police boat trying to drive onto dry land to try and get me when I was in a car. This is a step backwards from the Getaway !!

ive just got it and i have to say its not all its cracked up to be! i have to agree with the previous comment, the ai is shocking already my man is floating along a wall when i went to jump it! will try and complete it quick and sell it on ebay and get my money back! bring on grand theft auto (

Everyone talks about the bugs but all I've seen is one person drop from the sky, in VC i've seen cars half way up buildings, walked through walls, dropped through glitches and fell miles to my doom, tried to get in a car but it drove off yet i was still sitting there in a car but it was just invisible and many others - yet I still don't think they ruin a game

impulse by mutu should have read the reviews on the forum first! ive just got to nice trying to put 3 cars in a truck, some bits are good but i just think that for a game that had so much hype and time to develop you would have thought atari would have hit the nail on the head and got rid of all the imprefections!

I wasn't bothered about the glitches, like you say GTA is full of them. It was just the AI which they had taken time to programme into the game was real bad. I mean get a policeman to chase you then jump over a car and duck by the bonnet, the cop'll won't bother running round the car he'll just shoot at the bonnet till the car blows up !?!?!?
