Dummy's guide to playing we7i:j net rip with sm/dvdregion/AR

Ive managed to do it. I havent applied a patch yet and i just burned the rip after I followed the instructions. Ash, dont apply a patch. Follow the instructions and it will work!

That is great news, this works because the size of all the files remain the same right. So I might use a ppf patch so the data_j.afs file size will stay the same, Hopefully. Does anybody know any ppf patches apart from jonbyoy euro 2004 one.

Well there is a WeDoIt rip for Japan Commentary whilst Eriol of WeFantasy has released Euro X Fantasy Patch for PPF to. You can apply to DATA_J.afs or the CD or DVD Image.

I'm trying the jonboyo patch now and my donwload for X-Euro is nearly finished so I will try that after.

Yes, it worked with the jonboyo patch, going to try X-Euro now. BTW, my screen is in nearly 16:9 ratio. I always get a lot of black above und under my main picture. I need help to fix this.

can someone help i modified the data _j.afs myself followed the instructions got to the title screen then it crashed

Hello. Please try re-building your ISO file with CD/DVD GEN. Also try to scan and repair sectors in CDMage.
