Editing kits after installing KeSoo's patch?

Hi All,

I have installed KeSoo's patch 0.6 but now cannot edit some of the kits from within the game - e.g. Athletico Madrid. Is there a way to do this? My IT skills are somewhat limited so small and simple steps would be appreciated.

What software do the guys who create the updates use? Also what format do images have be in?
