Editing the texts of the game... HOW?

Hi! Hope some PES.editing.masters :] can help me!

I want to know that is it any way to edit the texts of the game? I mean that if I want to translate the english version to my mother language (hungarian) then which program should I use or which way can I modify the text files?

I saw that somebody has made an english translation of the japan version before... so its possible or not?

You need the newest version of DKZStudio, with the fixed .str editor (search around for that), and you need to edit every .str file in the game (.str files are where they put the text you see onscreen). Like, EVERY one, or else you won't see all your changes in-game.

It'll take a LONG time to do, and if you're doing WE8 rather than PES4 it would help if you knew Japanese too, as there are still a few bits left even in the English-translated version.

Make a note of the lines you change, as it's a good idea to make sure you edit two bits of text that read the same in *exactly* the same way.

And remember that all the little accents and unusual letters you get in Hungarian may not be in the game's text database, so might have to be replaced with the un-accented English versions...

And if when you've finished the game doesn't work, don't give up. Text editing is very fiddly, and it might take several times to get it right.

PS Zyg -- your sexee ladeez are getting too much.... I thought that Lindsay Lohan-a-like doing keepie-up was distracting, but this new one is...well let's just say I'm glad I wasn't driving when I saw that pic.
