practice makes perfect I suggest that you drop down a star get used to creating chances and scoring then when you feel confident enough move up. we9 was so difficult for me and ive been playing for years but now im banging them in left right and center good luck.
Been in a slump too. But sometimes I feel if you get stuck playing a certain style for too long, this can happen.
Try changing things around. If you want to create chances and score a lot from open play, suggest you drop down a star too. On higer difficulty, don't be suprised to not get the expected results.
Tactical changes really do make a huge and telling impact in 9. Not only do you have to be on top of your game in terms of controls and skills, you need to make actual changes to react to the way your opponent has set up or palying.
E.g sometime its no good to hae Robinho's or Owens starting, cos your biiger opponents DF's would own them. Tweak a little, put a stronger CF in. If the opponents DF is cutting you out thru the middle, employ a winger, or have your CF's run outwards to stretch the opposition, and then get you OMF's to come up to fill the gaps.
There are many, amny possibilities, but just sticking to a set formation and tactic WILL NOT work all the time.
Cheers.
