Error found in installed data? [PS3]

When ever I try to go into my messages menu it will run the network test then show the online user agreement, which I agree to. Then the regular maintenance times menu appears, which I then close.

Here's where the problem is though. When I reach the login screen, and attempt to login I always receive the same message:

"Error was found in installed data. Cancelling connection"

Does anyone have an idea what has happened, or is going on, and a remedy?

no i have a problem cause it was working last week but lately its been saying autolog in failed there is nothing wrong with my name or password cause it worked before

I have exactly the same problem
I think it is caused by the patch i downloaded a couple of weeks ago, have you downloaded any patch lately?

do u use the american version?

or does anybody have a clue of what causes this?

First of all I use the America(s) version. If I have downloaded any patch or update recently I am unaware of it.

When I first started playing the game a month or two ago, I got the 1.10 update. I should also mention though that I never tried the MESSAGES menu until about two weeks ago though.

Another interesting note though is that the auto-login always fails when the game initially loads. When I then go to the NETWORK menu, I succeed in loging in.

I'm not sure if the two are related? Or if this is something you are experiencing also?

exactly the same, autologin fails too

Ok i did download the patch and u didn't, so its is not causing it

when u go to the game settings, the last option, it says install, do u see it available or "gray" ?
