Error Occured - No Communication red dot with X

Tried to play a mate tonight and everytime, which ever one of us host game, we got "error occured" and they other person could not connect to the match room. They would briefly appear in the match room but the connection status for was red with a cross in it, which is the manual says means "no communication". Mine and his are always green.

We were able to play other people but not each other. he is on BT and I'm tiscali but have played each other before no probs?

Help please?

It might be problem of your conection too.. If you living to close to each other, using same wifi provider.. I had this problem with my other friend and had to change provider becouse of that..
