its just that the whole idea was t1000v2.0's, and hes the one whos supposed to do all the games and organise em and post the results with watever... then along came ash and started mixing thingz up and it became like a jungle up in here... not a beautiful scene.. ash wud u plz calm do and let t1000v2.0 continue with his work and not ruin this? thx a lot.. it was his idea from the begining so i think we shud show him some respect.. we should help him stay organised and focused... thank u

uefa (t1000v20) will be in charge of this tourney... well, fifa (ash) can do a few friendlies himself, but it will not be reflecting the actual play when the tourney begins since the stats are different...
if this forum is still running in 2006, we will do a world cup tourney and any mate that is interested in hosting the tourney can make their proposals to bid on it. and we all will vote for the organiser... sounds fair, ash?

With the biggest National team tournament (short of the World Cup) just days away, the respective managers of the competing teams are still struggling to find the best mix in their squads for the tournament. Tournament organisers originally allowed 1 friendly game per team for this purpose, but this idea was quashed under pressure from both UEFA and FIFA high-profilers, with them claiming that this does not allow enough match practice to find the best mixup.
As a result, a veritibale onslaught of verbal diarrohea came from both sides, in their attempts to organise more friendlies for their teams, leaving the EURO 2004 tournament organiser flabbergasted, saying "i work weird hours unfoprtunately", his stress clearly showing through when he attempted to say "unfoprtunately" out loud.
Various managers were as bemused as they frustrated at the apparent lack of organisation between managers, with one legend having this to say when asked about why he pushed for 2 friendlies, "i put two friendlies out and everyone is doing two friendlies now... [there needs to be] more understandings between managers and "players" now".
Another manager said that the 2-friendlies each was "a good result". Being the manager of France, he would say that though.
And to end this bizarre turn of events, after the dust had settled between the sides, one manager had the nerve to that he had "enough friendlies now..." and another manager actually asked for a 3rd friendly! It would appear as though that if the EURO organisers do not get a strangle hold on these overlord-like national managers, we may never see the actual start of the real tournament.
Much like the Athens Olympics.

New UEFA ruling (please read)
In light of the recent confusion taking place in this friendly period, UEFA has ruled that there will be a strict limit now, of 2 friendlies. These are really warm up games and so from the very first one, it is down to you to make the most of it. The first game should give you an idea of what may need to change, the second game should be enough to try out a few more things, but there is no need for a third game, as allowing this,it's like telling you, don't worry if you dont get it right first or second time, you got another shot. So I think it is only fair that I limit the number of games to 2 max, this will also make it more of a challenge.
Also on the matter of the breakaway set of friendlies that are being played, if you want to do so, then conduct it privately, away from what is taking place here. If you are playing "behind closed doors friendlies" do not include the results as part of this competition, as they will be from now on, null and void. The result of France-Croatia I will let stand, as long as the mamagers are aware that this match may not show an accurate display of team performance which could hinder your chances against opposition, because your team has old stats, and incorrect players. I have deceided to make a rulling and a tough stance on this in order to restore some much needed organisation, as this competition is in fear of spilling into various disputes. Ash, please could yuo concentrate on setting your own team up, and not advertise for playing friendlies. If you would like to play one, then make it known on the fixtures thread.
From now, failure to comply with the new regulations will result in an inquiry, and action may be taken in accordance to UEFA guidelines. Let's maintain ths standard everyone, and hopefully get back on track leading up to the tournament itself.

ok then friendly with ezio confirmed i will go and post that one up in the fixtures, btw elfinke funny article on managers, i wasnt the first one to ask for a third friendly lol i saw other managers doing that and my 2nd one wasn't confirmed already, funny stuff though great work, i will stick with 2 friendlies one played one to go with czech rep., i won Germany that's great but the game as t1000v2.0 described was very dull so i would try to change the tactics a bit
