Sorry Mod's if this is in the incorrect place but im speaking of the game in general and both offline modes.
Eagerly anticipating this years release but have been left with utter dissapointment. I'm sure there are players out there who, like me love PES for its game modes ie; Be A Legend & offline Master League. With rumours about coaching the national team and being able to play as a goalkeeper in BAL, the excitement this morning was enough for me to shoot on out and buy myself a copy before doing anything else.
Why oh why have they downgraded PES.... A lot of people are talking about the AI and the physics of the game but dont see a lot of mentions about the removed content!

Playing in friendlies to prove yourself (on 2014 the first 9 games i wasnt even picked in the squad including friendlies)
Master League: 2013
STAFF!!! (coach, athletic coach, scout, doctor)
Same youth players as 2013, was hoping for a new batch of talent
Probably a lot more i havnt mentioned simply because iv turned my xbox off and got the TV on to check what else is out.
But my point is, wouldnt any company whether that be Konami or Microsoft improve on the previous years version of a product? Surely Konami recieved feedback from the fans and testers about how they felt much more involved in BAL with the querky little videos and agent contracts and how they would like to see more things added such as being loaned out, post match interviews etc.. But yet instead of adding things, they remove stuff.:no:
Same with Master League, removed the staff element. Yeah sure not the end of the world but if a game is trying to state its a "Football Simulator" and trying to put you in to the shoes of a club manager then hiring staff, interviews, touchline orders etc.. is there to make you feel more involved and immersed in to the world of being a manager. But yet again, they remove content.
It seems like they have made it much more arcade'y and Fifa'esk. More pick up and bash buttons! no depth, thought or immersion.
That is the only reason i buy PES over Fifa year on year, the Master League and BAL. It certianly isnt the laggy online games, unlisenced teams and this years bad player faces!
(P.s what is up with BAL goalkeeper? when i chose to be a GK it seems he dives automatically, all you have to do is be in the right position. so an entire match involves you having one thumb on the left control stick whilst surfing the net)
