haha these pitches are great :D

well on PC with kinda skills it's possible to create own stadiums. Not on PS4.

No need to sorry my friend, even in Austria no one likes RB Salzburg, i think 80% of austrian football fans (including me) supported Dudelange in that game :D

Last year, they were champion and in the last game where the title was celebrated, there are less then 6.000 people in the stadium sitting quiet on their seats, clapping a little bit.

the other thing: i was watching ivorian league as i said. Before watching the first game i was thinking, they will play on a little pitch like the one in the last picture you posted, in front of 200 people and bad pitch conditions. I was stunned when i saw them playing in a 60.000 stadium (of course it was not even 50% filled but lot more supporters then for example in austria) and on a high level, one team was this "ASEC Mimosas Abidjan" which once won african Champions League just with 15-17 year old academy players (i think also the Toure brothers began their careers there).

This guy Da Mota from Luxembourg, i think he is from portuguese descent.

Oualembo is also a good friend from Wilson Kamavuaka (he played in the RDC national team also) who played at my favourite club until last summer.

I already heard about ASEC Mimosas Abidjan. In fact, when I was choosing African teams to do in PES 2017, I was undecided between this team and TP Mazembe for my last free slot... I ended up choosing Mazembe. I still have 2 slots which I was going to fill with other teams (maybe Caribbean teams), but I might do this team instead.

Also, according to Wikipedia, this team holds the world record for unbeaten league games, 108, between 1989 and 1994. It's true that Ivorian league isn't the same as Premier league or La Liga, but it's still pretty impressive :)

And yes, Daniel da Mota is portuguese descent.

Sometimes, I like to watch Youtube videos and search for articles/news/blogs about this type of football... I discover very nice teams and histories.

If KONAMI developers though like us... Nobody would buy FIFA. :D

FIFA is an arcade game, for children :p
Jokes aside, I love PES since the days of Winning Eleven times (was 1996/1997 :eek:hmy:)

this. They wouldn't really need licenses if the edit mode would give us more freedom. The community cares about the game since years, that won't change.

the first argument on FIFA is always licenses. When i took my FIFA 17, packed it away and bought PES 17 the first thing i hear was "man, no licenses, no Real Madrid, no Bundesliga, no nothing". Well, after one hour, downloading and importing i had all of that. And even things i don't have in FIFA:

I wish we could add completely new leagues (of course that's a bit too much...), and I also wanted the stadium creator back... maybe the option to import chants too, and unlimited slots for images. That's all I want for PES, we don't need anything else, come on KONAMI

I like both series (PES and FIFA, and also played TIF 2005 back in the times of ps2, but that was the last game of the series), but PES is really my favourite. We have more freedom, more options, it really feels like our game, with our teams, our way to see the game. It's just awesome when you start a Master League with your local team and climb up to the top of the world of football.
That doesn't happens on FIFA. It feels like a commercial game, completely focused on money, where we don't have any freedom (since Creation Centre was removed - and even that was limited, full of bugs and focused on money, since we could buy more slots for teams. I'm not surprised that it got removed). Basically, even when you buy it, you don't feel that is your game. It feels like your game is being controlled by someone else (Electronic Arts mercenaries :\). Yeah, of course, The Journey is cool, UT is cool too, but nothing can beat old PES gamemodes.

My first PES was PES 2005. The one I played more was PES 2009 on ps2. I also played a lot of PES 2011, and now I'm playing PES 2017 (I'm currently "stuck" at the edit mode )

you're right regarding FIFA. I started playing only FIFA, i think with FIFA 2000 (for PS1 or so :D ), my first PES was PES 6, then i abandoned FIFA, PES 2009 and PES 2010 i played extremely often (on PES 17 i actually spent 80% of time with editing, 10% with simulating to test how realistic attributes are and 10% with playing myself, mostly MyClub), PES 2012 was (imho) really not good in relation to FIFA 12, so i played only FIFA since 2012, but since 2015 it disappoints me extremely.... 2017 i thought, time to give PES another chance and i think that was a good choice.

In FIFA you don't have a chance to edit anything. I must admit that i didn't even know that you can edit so much on PES also on consoles now (still you have far more options on PC, i played only on PC earlier and edited ~all of the game :D ), with adding kits, that was not really possible earlier (only part of the kit could be imported). But i really miss the chance to import fonts and numbers for the kits also. And import faces, balls, stadiums, boots, keeper gloves, sounds, scoreboards and much more.

PES has far more potential in my eyes. I mean, really far far far more. But also with things that Konami has to improve, while with FIFA, it isn't that football game feeling anymore. I'm sure next year i only will buy PES and let FIFA lay in the store. Since i have PES17, i haven't played FIFA 17 a single time.

Back to the exotic football:

I went to search about Bhutan... I have no words to describe. One of the lowest ranked teams in the world but with an unique stadium and a beautiful jersey (one of the best I have ever seen).

I'll just leave this video here. I guess I have another team to support.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6km6gldPjo

I forgot to include this stadium in my previous list: Changlimithang Stadium, in Bhutan:

Why isn't this on PES? :(

that stadium is wonderful :)

i bet maybe an often used target for groundhoppers, that is really something special.

as for the kits - i tried to create them 2 or 3 weeks ago.... i had to give up because of that dragon, this is far too much for my limited skills. Maybe ggdaris will do them one day but until i create asian teams, there will much time pass :D

I hope he can, Bhutan kit is beautiful.

Another thing I noticed recently when I was searching for teams to do in PES was the Belize league team names. That league it's really cops vs criminals. Have you seen their team names?

Police United
Belize Defence Force

vs

Belmopan Bandits
Placencia Assassins

The rivalry must be big on that league :p

haha yeah i love such creative team names.

In Africa there are plenty of that kind.

not only team names - also player names. When i researched the squad data for Zimbabwe i had to laugh about the forenames their parents gave to them: Teenage, Liberty, Blessing, Ocean, Hardlife (!), Knowledge, Gift, Marvelous,.... really great.

It's true, team names such as Tout Puissant Mazembe - All Powerful Mazembe - really great name.

Hardlife, really nice name... hahaha... I really want to play with that team :) too bad it starts with a "Z", it's probably on the bottom of your list (if you do alphabetical order).

I'm doing the Belmopan Bandits team... And I will play Sheriff Tiraspol (Moldavia) against Belmopan Bandits... Cops vs Criminals football match! :p which one would you support?

:) bhutan nice video, i remeber american samoa movie, next goal wins (good history of football)

American Samoa has written some stories in football history that went around the world. Not all of them where glory, so was one game they lost against Australia, conceding 31 (!) goals in one match (funfact: Their goalkeeper played in Austria back then, i think 4. league or something :D ), then for their first win against Tonga and also for winning with kind of a transgender (or in american samoa, some men live as women and count as a oficial third gender) in the team.

To be honest, Football has more stunning stories to tell about American Samoa, then about Austria

Nice ggdaris :) I guess it will be a challenge, but Buthan football deserves it :p

Also a fact from Belize football: According to this website Kun Aguero's cousin, Nelson Chaparro Aguero, is playing on Belmopan Bandits.

As for the game between Belmopan Bandits and Sheriff Tiraspol... Bandits won 4-2. I was controlling Bandits. It was a hard game... I scored first (goal from Aguero's cousin), but Sheriff scored 2 goals. Then, on the second half, Aguero's cousin scored again... 2-2. Then I made a substitution, a new fresh striker (E. Mariano). That striker scored twice on the last minutes and Bandits won the game :p (I had to share this with you guys...)

The squads:

haha sounds like that was some fun. :D

another topic: I'm editing Greenland at the moment. (i finished Guernsey and Alderney today also, some hours ago), as i researched, i saw that they could gain UEFA and FIFA membership in near future, because FIFA statutes say, when a country is not independent, the country it belongs to must also support membership and denmark does since end of 2015. They first must be UEFA member to become FIFA member. If google translator doesn't fool me, this was not possible since yet because they have no real stadium. But Wikipedia says, they build one at the moment, which matches all requirements and will be finished 2020. chances are high, Greenland will become UEFA and FIFA member shortly after that is finished.
