PES2008 is the most disappointing title this year easily.

BioShock was an astonishing game, obviously everyone has opinions but the Story and the background to all the details is unbelievable. It was easily the most enjoyable Single Player campaign I've ever played on, and because I didn't rush through the game, it lasted me about 3 months or so. Such a clever and creative story, still makes me think at times.

PES is the most disappointing. On the other hand I don't see FIFA08 on the ps3 disappointing at all, actually it's the most game that I play on my ps3 and it's actually the best football sim to date. The other day I played PES6 on the ps2 and found that the hectic gameplay and crazy scorelines were too arcady to my taste. The gameplay was great at the time but with the ps3 everything should have changed.

Concerning Assassin's creed, the game itself is amazing. I love the graphics and how the cities seem massive and all. The game does get repetetive but I hope they're going to fix that in the next versions ( I heard there are going to be sequels), also the fighting mechanism along with the climbing is fun, I mostly play the game for that.

And I thought I was crazy for playing Prince of Persia(most of the time) for the above mentioned and graphics. :mellow:

Why not add Crysis to the poll? A good game though I don't think it lived up to the hype.

Me and my friends went today to play pes2008 on the ps3 on multiplayer, sad thing is we couldn't continue one match, we switched off the console and left the store. It pains me to see pes like that, I really hope they redesign the game the upcoming year.

To be fair, it is an awful game to play. So much so that I find myself preferring the PS2 version. The 360 PES2008 just plays like PES6 on the 360 AKA fucking shite.
