Far Cry

Well the single player demo has now been released and what a game! One of the best FPS i've ever played. The AI is brilliant, and the graphics are something else! The game isn't linear like most FPS, you've got freedom to roam about the island but not "too much" freedom so you don't get lost.

Can't wait for this game to be released, the multiplayer will be excellent as well Its got the lighting effects from Doom 3, and the physics of Half Life 2 (barrols roll and float etc).

The AI is the best ive seen in a game, if you make a noise and they can't see you they fire blindly if they think they're in danger. There's still a few bugs but this demo was finished over 2 months ago, so now doubt they'll sort those out before release.

The water is class too, fish swimming and everything, also numerous vehicles you can control, an attack boat with machine gun, jeep thing with gun and there's loads more in the full game ive heard including an handglider.

arhhh i played the demo to this the other day and it was outstanding!!

graphics - 10/10
sound - 9/10
gameplay - 10/10

The enemy keep saying the same thing over and over again but then again its only a demo. The acctual quallity is fantastic!!
Its up there with Half life 2, Doom 3
Gonna need a preety good comp to play it!!
