my best formations are 3-6-1(the wingers can defend and also b strikers.) 4-4-2 (never flat) 4-3-3(for good players who want to get more routs) 5-4-1 (great formation if you have a good striker,a first leg narrow lead,or have a good striker and poor defenders) 2-6-2 (makes you take passing around the midfield on 5* for granted,you must be good at defending.......I currently play this formation-it draws defenders forward to allow for through balls.) My favourites are (stats edited to be more realistic) Yashin,Moore,Beckenbauer,Pele & Cruyff

formation: 4-4-2(almost flat), but the wingers are a little longer up than the cmf
players: Del Piero(the king), Guti, Appiah, Legrottaglie and Alan Smith

If you were a "MOD" (why all in capitals?) then I would vacate the fora forever, because of the travesty of it all.

I play a 3-4-3 formation with very wide wing-forwards, who act as the wingers for the most part, but can also be useful as support strikers.

My favourite five players are:

Martin Djetou (centre-back)
Oliver Neuville (wing-forward)
Emmanuel Adebayor (created using MLFS Brazil site - striker)
Javier Saviola (wing-forward)
Ebbe Sand (striker)

I've only actually got Emmanuel Adebayor in my current ML game - and Oliver Neuville plays for my other ML team.

There'd probably be some classic players in there, but I have something against them - and I'm also quite reluctant to have "superstars" in my team, like Thierry Henry, Ronaldo, and so on.
