pes2 sorted so i will try that wide w/tilt 9 later tonight

i played a full game with the vertical camera angle i think it is where you see from behind one of the goals. it's quite a trip out :\ but it can be good to see a curling strike into the top corner

Its actually quite useful when ur thru and u want to know which side of the keeper to slot it home.

For me, I've switched to default long and I have to say i'm uncomfortable with it despite getting some decent results....

the urge to switch back is immense......but feel like I must pursue with it..>>>!!

I generally play with default long but my mates all like different angles most like default intermediate, but i've had to play with wide(don't mind this much) but also broardcasting and vertical long just luckly i'm versitile

Has anone tried playing with Camera angle Broadcast 3? It's a bt of a mind bender to say the least... It actually zooms in like real tele along the wings and corner flags. Very snazzy, needed a bit more work though. Also, very hard to play in!

i always through out the entire series, used the default long view. except for about 3 weeks in PES2 when i used wide.

but on 3 i've gone back to Long, simply because it come naturally. and i find wide on 3 to be a little bit different. i may go back in the future but probably not. i sometimnes flick to vertical short for a free kick i feel confident about, but i never play matches on vertical

I've tried this a few times and i think it is a great laugh. Unplayable for the most part but the different angles it switched to is a refreshing change.

Not to change the subject or anything, but can anyone remember the "ball cam" that came out with the 1st fifa came on the ps1? Now that was a head fryer.

yeah that was mad! fifa have the worst cams ever. u can never see a pass although with their 'gameplay' u probably couldnt play it if u could see it

pes wise i use the default long camera with a tilt of about 2/3. i find that if you have the default camera and zoom u cant see the ball hit the net and that for me is the best feeling on the game! and sometimes u dont even know uve scored! but with the futher out camera its ok.

only problem is when u play at a friends house and they have the default camera its so bloody hard to play! u go from having about 3-4 passes on to having 1 or 2 max!

the radar for me is totally pointless, u can never find your team let alone the player u want! and by the time uve looked if youre playing it on a respectable difficulty some twat from the other team will have nabbed the ball off u and be down the other end of the pitch!

i use the wide one as it allows you to see more.. harder to use in close spaces eg. stepping but the pros out weigh the cons

nice to see pes fans all round the globe, i bet fifa doesnt get such a global following :D

its better for the gameplay to be able to see more of the pitch although on a small tv it can be hard to spot the ball in tight spots.its a shame theres no function to zoom as close as u want and go as high or low as u want with the camera. thats one thing fifa got right...

I last night tried wide for the first time having previously been playing on default long and what a difference it has made, I can see more runs off the ball, the opponents crowded penalty area is no longer a problem as on this new view I can see short passes and a way through - it improves the gameplay 100% and is far less irritating and frustrating,

I think it would be good if you could have a change view button, like you get with driving games.
Long and Wide views are great, but i'd like the ability to quickly change to short/intermediate views for corners etc without pausing the game.

i used to use intermediate on pes2 but switched to long on pes3 as it made it easier to see players runs.

i use either long or wide, i dont see how anyone can use anything else really. what camera angle do they use in the league? i'm guessing long?

i would just like to re-inforce what has already been said about the wide camera angle. i used to use the default one, but then on changing to wide the gameplay improved drastically. you are able to create better and passing improves as well. For those, like me, who never bother with changing camera angles, its time for a change

You need a big tv to play long/wide, otherwise the players look like ants.

I totally agree. Players look like insects, unles you have a wide screen tv . Broadcasting 3 in PES3 or TV 2 in WE7 are the best (most realistic) cameras. That`s why it`s called broadcasting, cuz` it`s like you`re watching a real life football match..

I use broadcasting 1....gives the best representation of a football match....broadcasting 2 looks like the highbury camera, that closer angled kind, but its harder to play on that one. and 3 is difficult control on the closeup parts.
