Sorry, I didn't find my way into this thread until today. I don't consider what you posted above as "proof" in any way. I'm talking to a Utd fan right now and he thinks that is utter rubbish and still refers to them as Man U on occasion.

However, I see that in your mind, and I'm sure some others' minds as well the term is offensive and so I shall apologise for that.

Personally I think even if the above were true, United fans should not be stopped using a perfectly fine abbreviation by the actions of rival supporters. Reclaim it! Like black men calling each other the 'n-word'.

The center of the chart is (0,0), horizontal axis left is negative numbers, right is positive, vertical axis up is positive, down is negative.
The 1st number, (0,0), corresponds to the horizontal axis.
The 2nd number, (0,0), corresponds to the vertical axis.

Im sorry I don understand that can you like post a picture for example this one (-1,1) I fail and north south east west vertical horizzontal...

fillya, (-1,1)means you move once left and once up. The left number is left and right and the right number is up and down. A positive number (1) means right or up and a negative number (-1) means left or down.

1st number is how many boxes you move horizontally.
2nd number is how many boxes you move vertically.

(-2, 0.5) would be:

2 boxes to the left, and HALF (0.5) boxes up.
