Feint + Lob/Chip

This is on Dundons signature and I saw some members asking how it is done. Its simple, all you do is:

:square:, :square: and then tap :R1:

On the first square, your power bar will power up, pushing square again, will make the player stop his foot in mid swing and then hit it again, if you tap R1, he does a nifty little lob which usually goes over the keeper as the keeper dives down for the first feint. So you basically chip it over the side of his body, great fun to do and great to show your mates the reply who actually thought it was just a normal lob.

That is such a good goal! Thanks sooo much for the tip!

My main problem with PES is that I get so involved with passing and running (which often is my flaw) that I don't concentrate on using skill and all the cool little flicks and stuff. I'm desparetly trying to include it more in my game

Heres another nifty little trick, if you are in a 1 on 1 situation, you can push :square:, :x: or :square: + :x: together, both do pretty much the same, and you fake a shot, kinda sidestep with the ball and gives you a clear view of the goal.

Dont try it with low level keepers, they never seem to fall for it with me. Although the level 5 keepers do. So if you play mates, get the keepers on 4 or 5 and watch and laugh.

Yeah taking back what I just said, I've always used this trick, even in PES2, I can't remember if it's in PES1. I want the tricks to be second nature but it takes a lotta practice. Which, of course I don't mind doing :D :D :D

Also, a double feint is :square:, :square:, X , thats just in case the keeper doesnt fall for it the first time or if you wanna annoy your mates defenders.

A triple feint is :square:, :square:, :square:, X I think, and if you do :square:, :square:, :square:, :R1: , You will just completely taunt your mates. The amount of mates I have had leave the room because they get so pee'd off is hilarious. :D

Hey guys,

I've tried this many, many times and it doesn't seem to work for me...

Does it only work if the ball is knocked in to you?

I can press shoot and then hold R1 to do a low chip, but double tapping shoot and then holding R1 just seems to shoot normally.

Thanks,

Alex.

In PES3 I used the R1 lob (low lob). In PES4, however, it seems to always go way over the bar. I remember that in PES3 I used to fill up the power bar to the max and then hit R1. Should the power bar filled less in PES4?

Gollan: Yeah the bar needs to be about a third full depending on distance (I'm talking just inside the area) and I wouldn't try it unless you have decent shot accuracy and shot tech. =)

I'm new to this game. Keep those tips coming. Appreciate it. :)

Anyone knows where to find a decent guide to all these button combo? A link to it would be great. Can't wait for them to publish WE8 for Dummies.
