Money is not the point. Basically, Why do we love football? The gameplay...it is the main reason and Fifa still lack it. A lot of people or let me say 99% of the people that buy PES, can buy Fifa, It is not a big issue, 30 quids are nothing. But why could I buy a game I surely know that I'll get rid of it or never use it after maximally within two months and at the same time I'll support the game producers while I can buy the game that I like and spend the whole season enjoying it !!!!!! It is just philosophy...sorry I know I am a complicated character...but.....this me.

how can u possibly make that point without playing the 360 version?

its a new engine and believe me its AWESOME

I dont think its awsome... ive played the 360 demo and there is still that problem that you dont feel 100% in controll like you do in PES. Its had a major improvement but its not up to pro evo's feel of total controll yet. EA shud just steal the PRO EVO source code...Then we'd have the perfect game!!!

Your daily dream.................

I'm just tired of reading what this ****ing PES fanboy writes, anything that's not PES is shit for him, the beautiful thing is we soccer fans have multiple gaming choices, FIFA 07 happens to be a good game, WE9I is an even better game, and I really hope WE/PES 2007 will be the best soccer game ever, I mean, just be happy with what you like, and stop talking shit, as easy as that.

PES 6 and WE/PES 2007 are the same game, different music maybe, if you can, get both FIFA 07 and WE/PES 2007, I got FIFA 07 and it's a good game, you won't regret it,and, since we're in America, it will cover the gap until January when WE/PES 2007 will be out.

First of all, you gave a comment on a post (Your daily dream) which really is an answer to another post and not an expalanation or analysis of both any game.

Secondly, when I speak about a game, as I did do to both PES6 and Fifa07, I explain my points of view, in a constructive way, after 13 years from football gaming

Thirdly, try to control yourself. I usually see you very angry. And if you are usually so, so not with me, UNDERSTOOD?

Construtive way? where? you're just a poor fanboy who doesn't see anything different to PES. Be open minded, accept changes, dont be so stubborn.

srry for double posting but would the ps2 version have a good graphics, compare to its 360 version
FIFA 07 ps2 graphics are ok, but you cant compare ps2 to x360 in graphics terms, FIFA 07 for x360 has outstanding graphics.

Being supportive to the game that you like is a good thing, but being defensive is very bad. And you are an ideal example for the latter. Anyway....If you want to know if I post constructive comments or not, read my analysis of Fifa07 in "EA is absolutely from another planet" and all my posts in the different section of PESinsight. And I think you haven't read a lot of posts of mine to give a fair comment about me. Another proof is that I do not remember you speak about anything regarding football, only about Fifa, you gives No analysis, No explanation.....just Fifa07..
The closed minded is you due to the way you respond to any post...very superficial and useless.....so please:
1-Try to think before you write.
2-Try to criticise people in a more accepted way, so that they can respect your words.

Ok, i played FIFA 07 (PS2) for the first time today, so i'm finally qualified to comment. So here goes:

THE GOOD::)

-Gameplay is less scripted than before. Its a little more random with stray passes and deflections, so its clear EA have been looking closely at PES.

-Presentation is fantastic as always. Nice menu screens, overall very polished.

-Great audio and atmospheric stadium noise (although a little quiet).
Also you hear national anthems before playing International games. I love this touch!

-The licenses. The amount of leagues is brilliant.

THE BAD::no:

-Still too scritped to tear me away from PES.

-Shooting still seems a bit random at times.

-No Holland national team from what i could see. Maybe more missing but i didn't have time to look properly.

-Graphically inferior to PES. Colours are too bright and kindergarten-ish. Distance blur effect is seriously overdone so that the graphics lose any sharpness and clarity. Players seem a bit jerky when running.

-The player models are a bit shabby and all players look the same build and height. They still have a ape-like stride to them, too.

-Limited tactical options.

OVERALL - Buy PES6, but FIFA 07 maybe worth a look.

Let me explain my background before I make my comments and get a torrent abuse from the FANatics on this forum

I converted to "ISS" as I call it when ISS 98 came out, although I had played ISS Pro on PS1 and the Super NES title as well.

The last Fifa game I played properly was Fifa 98 RTWC a truly amazing game

Every year I play one match on Fifa to see if they have finally gone off this scripting tip of theirs and every year it was the same rubbish, although the Germany 2006 game wasn't too bad. I still found it too scripted

Got Fifa 2007 and decided to play a couple of friendlies against another die hard Pro evo FANatic and after the match we were both laughing uncontrollably. Fifa has really closed the gap on Pro a hell of a lot. I am getting worried! Ok they still have a few issues to iron out (not being able to customise controller options is one, shooting is another)

The atmosphere, gameplay, licenses, COMMENTARY (Trevor and his pal have to go, I would even prefer the Eurosport guy, just kidding) and their version of the master league is way better. The only things Pro Evo has over Fifa that i can see right now are gameplay (ball physics on Fifa still not quite right) and graphics (come on EA how can Gerrard be as tall as Crouch)

The most worrying thing is that out of the box Fifa has more to offer than Pro. Think about it if you judged both games on all they have to offer I hate to say it but Fifa would win. Thank God for all the patchers out there who keep Pro Evo alive otherwise if I couldn't be bothered to download patches and rebuild isos then I would play Fifa as it has more straight out of the box

Final thing I am still a Pro Evo man and I cant wait to play Pro 6 straight out of the box in order to compare the two. Konami get your fingers out of your arses as these EA boys are close to usurping y'all

PS I have been telling my friend to wait for the proper next gen football game b4 he commits to an Xbox 360 and if Fifa 2007 on the 360 plays as well as on PS2 i would def recommend he buys as the patching community support for the glorified port that is Pro 6 for 360 will not offer the same options as Fifa at the present time

Please feel free to hang me oh Pro Evo FANatics!

Erudito
