Just downloaded the demo and played about 3 games.
In a nutshell; its the best FIFA yet, better than RTWC and World Cup...you can definately tell they've concentrated more on how the ball moves. The graphics are pretty, although I still think that while some of the player likenesses are good, the body of the players looks a little odd.
During replays and the entrance sequences there is a huge drop in frame rate, during the game though it runs smoothly. Animation is decent, better than previous FIFA attempts.
It still feels like FIFA though, which means it doesn't feel like PES, which means its still not as good!
Those are my thoughts anyway.

demo is excellent its is by far the most realistic footy game to date player physics are excellent cant really say to much about sound as its just a demo and there is no commentry .
but there is a tactic editor at last for the formations
the camera angles are better and seem closer to the players
shooting is good
1. normal shoot
2. chip shot
3. finese shot
4. driven shot
overall this is gonna be one hell off a game
if this is what ea can do with fifa, then i cant imagine what konami have to offer us, just hope they are on the ball, any slip ups now could cost them big time

the demo is very very good i really love the gameplay and the graphics are nice to can t wait for pes6 demo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EA have finally managed to make a great football game. Its absolutely incredible. The ball physics are phenominal. It seems like the ball is more its own entity moreso than in PES... just less random bounce arounds as the players ACTUALLY keep control of the ball, as opposed to the ball sticking to them. The player movements and reactions are just as impressive. The ONLY thing that could make the gameplay even better, is the addition of a feature similar to Super Cancel. If they were to employ something like that, they'd be able to give PES even more of a run.
It feels as though Im watching the game instead of playing it, thats how immersive the atmosphere is. The odd, "WE HAVE A LOST CHILD, IF YOU HAVE LOST YOUR CHILD PLEASE COME CLAIM IT." by the PA announcer made me laugh out loud the first time I heard it.
I'm not worried about the graphical glitches as long as they don't affect the gameplay. Even the the demo, the slow downs ARE NOT during the run of play which is a huge plus.
Like the previous reviewer said, I can't wait to see what the PES is like. I have to wait until January to get my copy, so FIFA will have to hold me over. By the looks of it, it'll do just fine.
EA have made a gargantuan step (in terms of gameplay) in the right direction with this one. Kudos to em. Only thing that might down their sales a bit is the cutting of most of the leagues. That doesn't bother me a bit though.
I encourage all of you to at least try it (if you have access) ON THE 360.

yeah i have to agree gameplay is much better and you can play a much better passing game and interceptions are accurate i just had"if your the owner of a sliver BMW..." lol i think fifa has imprroved alot pes6 all the way tho but fifa will be a close contender !
