I just don't understand why FIFA don't do what PES does - when you disconnect you lose 3-0 and it shows how many disconnections you have in your profile.

I guess the main reason is because some people do genuinely have connection problems, but it's just annoying when it is so blatant.

When you play the team play online it comes up with a DNF % (Did Not Finish %) which pretty much gives you an idea of the people who regularly disconnect and such. Also, when searching for a game or creating a room you can filter by Max DNF %.

I don't know why they don't make it visible on 1v1 though. Although I prefer Fifa, it has a heck of a lot of things it needs to sort out, especially the invisible man glitch which struck again last night when one of the opposition players randomly turned invisible.

Ah the invisible man. Well the invisible men in my case. Sometimes at the beginning of games, I can't see my opposition. I'm just passing it around hoping that I'm not passing to one of their players, until they all appear one by one.

I liked PES5 and 6 online stats structure. It was very user friendly.

If the invisible men strike right at the beginning of the game, pause it then resume a few seconds later and it should be fixed. That's one thing I prefer about PES, the stats system. With Fifa it seems they're catering for the idiots by just making the overall stat visible from the line-up, meaning I end up just putting on whoever has the highest overall stat in each position. However, on PES I'd make my own decision as to who is better overall, or I'd pick the one with the most pace or with certain stars. Another thing is that EA Sports have no character. If you have Fifa 08 and Fifa 09, you may not realise which is which if you look at only the images on the cover. It seems all EA covers are designed the same, whereas you look at PES and it usually varies quite a bit. I'll stop my rant here but feel free to add anything I've missed. :mellow:

But I do agree with the overall stats 100%. It takes longer than it should to check all the stats and I'm pretty lazy, so I do tend to find myself looking at overall, instead of an individual stat.

Playing with 3 players on Any on Team Play is suicidal, especially if your opposition has a few fixed strikers. Unfortunately myself and Guillermo found this out the hard way. The 9-3 loss really hurt in particular. :crymore:

Doesn't help when the 3rd man dribbles straight into the opposing players. :faceplm:

Everyone else seemed to have 1 person on any, then 2-4 fixed as attacking players.

The only players I've played with from here who are worse than you two are Jin and Original? Those two really are dire. By the way, does Doney look down at his controller each time he goes to pass it or shoot?

How does one go about getting the Fair Play trophy? I've gone about 7 games now without any cards and it still hasn't given it to me...

Surely it doesn't mean your team AND the AI not being booked for 5 games in a row, because if so that's gay. The AI put in at least 5 reckless tackles per match.

It took me about 5 games, but by God, I got there in the end!

I finally changed the camera view to tele, instead of using the Be A Pro one. It's much easier using it that way, if you're using Any player, rather than a fixed one.

Soon we'll have people disconnecting before half time :smug:
