I played 4 matches, all ended 0-0. It's hard to score. Overall, it's decent. I notice that left-footed GK are still using their right foot during drop kicks.

I played a couple of games last night.

Actually enjoyed it. I love the finesse finishing where you hold the RB button when shooting and I wish Konami would incorporate that into PES.

Overall I thought it was ok, it still seems a little bit 'too FIFA' like, which to me certainly isn't a good thing. I won't be buying it for the simple reason that when it comes out I'm away on holiday...and when I get back there are only 4 days until the release of PES

Im still playing it, but for one reason, possibly the only reason to still have the demo... The Ronaldinho against the keeper loading thing.

That's the best about it for me too.
I wouldn't say it's shit but it still hasn't won me over enough. Players turn far too slow for my liking. I found myself getting bored, again.

Graphics didn't impress me that much either, it seems rather dark.

So everyone is going to get PES2009 instead, right? That'll be good, so I show everyone on this forum just how bad I am at the game. D;

All hope hangs on if the on-line mode will actually be playable. If it is then prepare to get your arse whooped latino style.

I've just tried the FIFA demo and I think it's absolute shite.

The graphics look worse than PES2008, and the football is very slow and boring. In the four games I've played, I've only had 3 shots in total, and only one was on target.

I think PES2008 is a much better game than FIFA 09. A lot more sharper and enjoyable. Like Mig, I got bored playing the FIFA demo.

I wouldn't say it's shite but I too just don't enjoy it. Graphics really surprised me because I thought that was what FIFA was known for. Rather dull all-round imo.

Just been playing the viva demo and 3 of the 2 games went to penalties..the pic below was the outcome of the 1st shoot out

I've gone to penalties twice and both times they've ended around 10-11.

Very realistic

They're far too easy to score if you ask me. Fair enough you have more control over them then on pro but the score lines aren't very realistic.

I got fifa 08 and thought it was playable and after playing the demo i'd say fifa 09 is an improvement...obviously theres still alot of things in the game that really bug me but i really hope pes2009 is amazing so i dont have to play Fifa anymore!

I must have had around 10 games which have gone to penalties, and the majority of the time my penalties end around 5-4, I've even won 3-0 on penalties before. I've honestly no idea where your 11-12 scorelines are coming from etc.

After playing this for the past day, I'm starting to take a liking to it, I like the faster gameplay and the more 1 touch passing which is going on it stops me getting bored quickly which I found in 08, the only thing which bugs me is A. the difficulty (which will obviously be different in the final version) and B. the ball physics, like someone else mentioned the ball seems to float up quite alot when you shoot which makes it harder to score, again I suspect this will be fixed before the game is released.
