Is anyone else getting pissed off when you go for a ranked game and every fucker has the 'dream team glitch' on? does my head right in...why can't people just play fair

Yeah I hate it, but it does make it all the much sweeter when I beat them.

most the time I don't bother playing them, they think it's not obvious they're cheating in the team selection screen...either their overall is like (95-93-95) or Chelsea have suddenly become a 0.5 star team then when you play them they have superstars (and some old players such as Zico, Cantona etc...dunno how they're doing that????)

TIP: if you happen to come up against a CHEAT using the dream team glitch, if you quit within the first 5minutes of a game it doesn't count as a 3-0 loss for you.

I thought it never counts as a 3-0 loss. When I'm playing people and they quit, it doesn't count as a win for me.

In Club team mode it does though.

I don't mind it, but can't stand it when they use exploits or quit, despite having all the best players in the game. From now on, when I'm in the lead, I'll keep the score at 1-0 to me, to encourage the opposition to keep playing.

hmm most of the time if I know I'm a lot better than the other guy I just try to score constantly , I know that if he quits I'm gonna get the win about 98% of the time anyway!

random but has anyone noticed that Ronaldo in Corinthians; when you're actually using him in a game he looks nothing like Ronaldo, but if you get man of the match with him you can see they've got an actual picture of his face...weird why they never just made the in-game player with the proper face.

EDIT: for fifa 10, they HAVE to fix the advantage rule!

also, the only real good thing i can think PES has that fifa doesnt is the ability to hit quick free kicks! If fifa added this it'd be excellent, i dont know how many times ive wanted to take the freekicki before the defence/keeper get back behind the ball, same with all set pieces really you should be able to take them quickly

No. It looks like it was only for the 08/09 season. I assume we'll have to buyt the new game for it to continue. Since the first season was a trial, I don't think we get to select one free division, any more.

Oh okay cool. But if we buy it now though, it will? Might be an investment since the next one is still a while away, 3.99 is nothing really.

Also, I'm disappointed at how under-rated Carlton Cole is. Weak.

I paid for all the leagues in Adidas Live Update (this year it's just called My Live Update I think...) and I only got about 2/3 months worth out of it before the seasons finished...Raging!

I'm pretty sure they mentioned that it's an anual subscription. That should mean you'll have to pay again when the new game is out.

The ratings in there are pretty pointless. I think Badgerman has the highest rating and Fab has a lower rating than me but in reality Badgerman isn't the best player in our squad and Fab is better than me.

And by gum, how am I one of the better rated players? I think my petrified tactic of "Oh god I've got the ball, shit. Someone else take it" kind of inflated my stats.

I think by the end of my Fifa run I averaged a staggering 0.2 goals per game or something daft. Saying that though, I did enjoy our online dalliances of getting mullered by French nerds. My internet connection hindered my ability somewhat though, finally got BT round to fix it and they measured the speed at less than half a meg (whilst paying for 8mb) so apologies to anyone whom ever played me in an online game of anything.
