Fifa 11

I have a question regarding importing music into FIFA 11.

I'll start by saying that I know how to do it and I have received the achievement, that isn't what I'm concerned about.

So I have ripped songs off of a CD and onto the Xbox 360 and saved the playlist as "FIFA". Went into the game and into the custom music and chants menu. Changed "Arena & Menu's" from the default playlist to my "FIFA" playlist. I got the achievement for doing this but there is no music.

Music in the audio section of game settings is full so I have absolutely no idea why this is happening. I have tried turning the game on and off.

I've also Googled the problem but all I find is someone asking how to import music for the achievement. Has anyone else had this problem?

This game can be so infuriating. Just had a game, FA Cup final against Reading and not one of my players could beat their keeper. Not because he was too good, mainly because every time my players got one-on-one, the computer would decide that my player will want to take the shot with his weaker foot despite being in a position to side foot it around the keeper with his right.

Kudos to EA for making their 'cheating' system more subtle but it's still obvious it's there.

I love Be a Pro online. Always play either on the wing or full back. Today I've been on form. It feels so great when you get an assist as a winger.

One game I as in Tottenham against Arsenal, I scored to make it 2-0 (Dare I say that I was actually quite proud of my goal and it was with my left peg, unstoppable!) but they came back into it in the second half and we won 3-2 thanks to a free-kick from me. I crossed it into the box for someone to get the head on it. To be fair whoever the goalkeeper was came running out like a diddy but I don't care. 1 goal, 1 assist, man of the match.

I've resumed my Manager Mode as Southampton. So far, so good. 6 league games in, 5 wins, 1 draw. I lost in the League Cup first round but that didn't bother me much because I can't afford to play Cup matches with the size of the squad.

Lambert is a beast. He scores most of my goals so far.

Why is it that when you call for your keeper to come out of the goal, he waits? I want him to come and collect (Or at least punch) a cross and this bloke waits until the striker already has his toe on the ball to come and attack it.

Ridiculous. Charging up the pass meter to have your keeper charge. What a joke.

I just scored the most incredible goal to date on this game, but then the guy I'm playing decided to quit!!! I wanted to save and show it off.

I'm Anderlecht and he's Uraguay. He's scored the first goal and I equalised soon after. Minutes later, it's a corner to me. I swing in a cross and his keeper punches the ball out of the box. The ball exists the penalty box via the corner of the area, heading towards the touch line for a throw in. But no, my right back has another idea and smashes the ball, first time, sending the ball flying over the keeper into the far top corner. I literally jumped out of my seat in excitement!

It was almost identical to a goal I scored on ISS Pro 98, with Croatia's Mario Stanic. The second half starts and I'm hoping not to embarass him, in order for the 90 minutes to end. Unfortunately, soon after the break, I score again, which was the last straw for the loser. Fuck sake!

Turned to fifa in 08 but as an offline game its atrocious, all manual human games are very enjoyable but in gameplay terms it lacks so many fundamentals of what football is about.

Fifa is good at fooling people into thinking its realistic, they have even made manual passing more assisted with 11 which shows you the direction they are taking the game. They want the game to appeal to online casuals. FIFA is good for one thing, all manual offline multiplayer matches. Every cpu team plays the same, scripted AI, online players are pussies and scared to play manual, so many flaws I could have mentioned but I am sure I have bored you enough.

If you know football you will eventually see this. Of course its all subjective though

Well, I don't really care for FIFA offline mode, as I buy it to play online mainly. If I play it offline, it's only to enhance my pro or to play my cousins and friends when they come over.

I don't use manual controls online. I don't have time or ambition to perfect the art of manual controls. I just want to pick up the control, have two or three games online and then I switch off.

I enjoy it more than PES and all the other football games on the market suck. So there you go. ITISWHATITIS.

Manual controls are far from an art but I get your point, everyone looks for something different in a game. And can see why fifa would be the perfect game for what you are looking for. Interested to see what they do with 12 but they need pull their finger out abit.

To be honest they don't really, as long as konami continues to fuck up big time then EA realize they can probably just tweak the game a bit each year & still get away with it...I wish they wouldn't - but they can

They thought that this year and now a lot of people including me now prefer pes, its one of the reasons why CM is a fucking embarrassment and I felt like a dick for queuing up at midnight. Konami are no angels of course(some of their logic insults me) but in my opinion pes 11 is already ahead in terms of being a simulation of football.

I don't buy football games for realism, I buy them to have fun. And at the minute, despite it's lack of features, I love FIFA.

When FIFA was the whipping boy I didn't see PES as more realistic in any sense, but it was more fun. I'll play PES when it's back to its best, which at the minute to me, looks a long way off.
