This message shows no disrespect to the Evo COMMUNITY , but having just recently played fifa for the first time I have to say it runs pro evo off of the pitch the depth of the league modes is fantastic with all of the teams that you can pick, you get the cups champions league uefa cup and you get the league still including all the OFFICIAL teams from the respective league that you pick at the moment I am currently valencia in la Liga and throughly enjoying myself if anybody hasnt played this game you should give it a try its a throughly enjoyable game , as the master league on pes just doesnt quite feel right , im not taking it away from pes its a quality game but fifa just edges it for me . sorry for bringing a Cursed upon name to these forums I just thaught I would have my say!

ok m8 - as you know pes doesnt have the fifa liecenses and if you have viewed any we7 images konami are working hard to rectify this by giving a few teams their proper club kits.

If you don´t understand, that FIFA is a piece of s*** then you´re in the wrong forum. Of course if you don´t want to play football and like to play 5 minutes and have a score of 6-5 then FIFA is good for ya, but then you could play NHL 2003 as well.

the truth is that each game pleases different crowds....I mean really, if you don't like FIFA, don't play it, it's a simple as that...But there are people out there that enjoy it, so let them have their fun, there's no reason to bash them for liking it

True.
fifa is for kids and those who want things that look nice.,

PES/WE game are for real football fans who want decent gameplay and with patchers sorting out all the kits etc it looks better than fifa games anyway.

The number of teams in Konami game is always increasing and you can see in the team lists available that almost all the relevent teams most people would want are in there.

Very true Zyg, and if you look at this lads profile you'll notice that he was born 1n 1988 which makes him about 14/15, he'lllearn in time that PES has much more enjoyable gameplay than that of the ridiculous FIFA games.

I bought PES cos I wanted to play a real football game.

I didn't want to buy FIFA because stats and real names don't impress me and cannot keep me at a game almost a year after buying it initially.

PES = Real Football.
FIFA = Glamorised interpritation of football.

I don't think it nessarily for just for kids.....FIFA was always meant to please the casual soccer/football fan, and I think it definitely succeeds....FIFA International Soccer (the first FIFA here in the States back on the awesome Genesis) was amazing. I loved it....Obviously Konami is marketing towards the hardcore gamer, and FIFA towards the casual gamer.....I think FIFA is definitely working harder to get even more fans by implementing more realistic gameplay, which remains to be seen if they accomplish it....right now Konami dominates the real football audience in Europe, but Konami has to do a better job over here in the US (they only really promote Metal Gear Solid), because right now the video game market is dominted by EA and all the games they release (Madden, NHL, MVP, FIFA, etc)......but alot of people over here are drawn to FIFA because before this past March, it was the only soccer game out, plus the allure of the EA name...not to mention all of the official kits, and other licenses...I think Konami definitely has to do a better job of marketing their lesser known titles in order to reap the benefits...

whoever thinks that FIFA is better than Winning Eleven must be an American, even tho I currently reside in the U.S but Americans don't know shit. So from now on..if someone talks crap about WE he's an American I know this for a fact..thats why FIFA gets released in the US and WE doesnt why ?? cuz' Japan knows where they will sell alot of football games...if they didnt make football games for Japan and Europe, than they would make baseball and american football games for USA..

So to the other kids out there who think that FIFA is better than WE you keep that info to your self otherwise get the F out of here...

Konami did make a baseball game in the US, and it sucked...they also made NFL Primetime (American football) and that sucked too....They make Winning Eleven though, and that's it's saving grace for sports games, as well as the Metal Gear series....

just to let you know eksol, I'm not sure if you've ever been to the soccergaming.tv boards, but most of the FIFA fans there AREN'T from America.....and by god, they will fight to the death saying that FIFA is better

I don't think you can say people from one country like a game more than people in another country, it's just a matter of personal taste. then again, FiFA does suck.

kochman, Cheers for backing me up on this 1 im not denying that pes is a great game just that having played fifa it seems more real in the league mode with there actually being money to spend rather than jst numbers!! i have both fifa and pes2 there both quality games
