i just got a newsletter from fifa, and it showed me some of its new features:

* Fifa have now put in an Edit mode
* that first touch shite
* new music; Faithless, streets etc . . .
* Graphics are still exactly the same to fifa 2004!

i think fifa have improved a little bit by added an edit mode and new skill system, but it still isnt matched to Pro Evo!!

anyone think that fifa 2005 will be a bit of a competion for PES:4 this year? (lol)

I think Fifa 2005 will not be any competition for PES/WE for the matter of what's the best game. For the matter of the amount of sold copies, Fifa will win it as always. But it never was that close ever before, thanks to the on-line play on the X-box and the licenses they have.

i think i'll buy both games this year, i want to get a closer look at fifa see wat the differences are, but fifa is only good for the kits and sponsers, but pes gameplay is the best there is . . . . .

I've bought FIFA every year since 98 and I think it's a good game in it's own way. I'll probably get this one for christmas and PES4 on the day of release.

I will not buy Fifa 2005 before I know if it is good. I don't care so much about kits or sponsors to pay € 67,00 for.. But ofcourse I would like to know for myself how the game plays this year, so I'll pay a visit to a mate of mine that buys Fifa every year. If it's good, I'll buy it. But somehow I don't think it will be my kind of game.

obviously fifa has better advertisement and licenses. but the gameplay is total shit. just watch some gameplay videos, and you won't think twice to buy pes 4. there is just no competition. the world is divided into two parts; those who have pes, and those who don't

Im glad they have added an edit mode at least, hopefully now the teams wont b out of date as soon as the january transfer window opens! itll probably still b nowhere good as PES4's edit mode but its a feature that fifa badly lacks IMO.
