I am not sure about the european release but fifa is always released on the first tuesday in November in the U.S

The first touch thing isn't anything to go crazy over. i mean we/PES have had that but it was just mimicing realistic gameplay. now ea made a name for it that's all.

I agree with that totally. The screenshots of FIFA 2005 look exactly the same as 2003 and 2004.

The funny thing is that EA announces the first touch system to be the biggest improvement. But this should be the most common feature of a football game and not the best new feature in their 11th football game... FIFA always was, is and will be very unplayable football game full of bugs

If FIFA really is trying to become more and more like PES then surely this is a good thing? Because it will:

A: It will give Konami a kick up the arse to keep improving in terms of licenses and their games generally.

B: If Konami doesn't keep improving then there is another option for the consumer. Lets face it, FIFA does all the other aspects of a football game very well, except the gameplay. If the gameplay gets to the standard Konami have set, then you have the perfect football game in FIFA.

Cant see it happpening with 2005, konami are gonna be way ahead. Maybe in a few years FIfa will improve but by then, Konami will still be ahead as they will keep progressing too.
