Those visuals are terrible. The players look square, while the crowd is flat and dull, the numbers are all squashed and the pitch is too one-dimensional.

Also, I see they don't have the Nike badge on the Juve top, something PES3 did have and PES4 will probably have.

It's funny that they're ranting on about "first-touch play" and all that rubbish. Well, if you've been playing PES games ever since the original on the PS1 you should have noticed that if you're any good at the game whatsoever then one-touch passing is already included. The fact that they're even discussing this as a new feature really worries me.

Already, PES4 10-0 FIFA 2005.

Ipswich's kit is out of date cos the new season ain't started and the new kits/transfers won't have been implimented.

Yep, FIFA RTWC98 and FIFA 99 are the best in the series, they have taken a drastic nose-dive since then.

In sayig that though, I thought FIFA2003 was pretty good, it atleast stopped the freefall. So it would appear as though FIFA is on the way back. Just a shame for EA that PES4 is around the corner :D

I think why peopel consider fifa 98,99 etc. to be the best fifa is because at that time ther wasnt any competition for it.
Now ther is pro evo/winning eleven and a few other games that are actually heavily competiting against it.

no actualy those versions of fifa were great, they were improving fifa each year, had all the countries i could think of, it was great for it's time simply, but now i feel like EA felt they were secure about being the no1 game so they layed back and did nothing but stupid changes that made the game repetetive and dull, for me the graphics didn't change since fifa 2002, i feel they're the same and PES is better in terms of graphics too not just gameplay, either that or the designers and programmers of EA just ran dry

aslong as fifa has full licenses and the likes of ronaldinho and henry on the covers of their game, EA wont care about making the game actually play well because they'll still be in the money

People always harp on about the graphics but I don't like them one bit. All the players look like aliens with deformed limbs. The heads are always too big and look like they are glued on masks. Pure shit!

WTF is going on with the ipswich v norwich screenshot. Ipswich kit is the old TXU Energi one from 2001-2003, darren bent looks nothing at all like darren bent (see Paul B's avatar). Even if its meant to be marcus bent its still way off. Yes, and the graphics look shite.

yeah the graphics on fifa have got worse!!!! 2002 and 2003 graphics were pretty good but this years one and 05 just look really shoddy. the faces just look blurred. no body has a nose it all looks 2D. very disapointing. i really want fifa to do well to put more pressure on konami to make the best game they possibly can. competition is good

The stadiums are absolutly brilliant like always, but iam dissapointed with the player graphics like others have said, that is poor.

ah well who cares we play PES, this game can get as sh** as it wants i dont care.
iam sorry to admit this but i did play fifa2004 :eek: , theres only one thing i like about the gameplay and thats the free kicks, there amazing :D hopefully Konami will copy that in some way :)
