If I can manage to do it by myself, I think they can do it. Who knows what they need to do though. There could be a lot to it.

According to the Podcast, they may be changing some players' appearances and changing some formations aswell as stats and transfers.

Maybe thats why its taking so long........

Its taking too long. Its supposed to be mid feb and I believe this is mid feb. Surely it should come out latest next week. I read somewhere that all they are going to do is transfer updates but not attribute changes.. I want to believe the podcast and I hope the reason they are taking so long is because they are doing more than just transfers. At least I have managed to most of the important transfers on mine.

From what I've heard is EA released an official update with only transfer updates and no changes in stats/attributes...
Where is the file... am dying, can't wait any longer

Lucky you. Fifa 08 might seem the same but PES2008 just isn't a game. Worst goalkeepers ever, worst running animation, worst stamina system and loads and loads of bugs that just don't seem to end.

Btw anyone know how to keep your shots down in FIFA 08. Almost everytime I shoot my shots are above the ground maybe unless am using the finesse shot but even in that case it goes up at times hence making it easier for the keeper (who's on world class) to save. The Cpu always does it. It keeps its shots on the ground always almost beats the keeper irrespective of the difficulty.

I win most of my games even by 4-0 margins at times (on WC) but my goals come from corners, blasting it past the keeper from close range, placing at times, free kicks, penalties, 1-2 plays and e.t.c. The problem is I get too many chances especially against my mates but I waste most of them...

I want to be able to finish like the CPU.

Tbh, coouldn't get into this game. Just after couples of games found quite boring. Never liked FIFA, Never will.

Well good thing is i made free monies. :D.

I personally signed out from PES until the next version comes out. I can't stand it. On top of being unrealistic, its too easy. At least FIFA is hard so there's something worth playing for. Getting better..

Make yer feckin mind up. :no: Winning games by 4 goals on top level cannot constitute any kind of challenge let alone be considered hard.

I said at times and of course that only happens with top teams such as Arsenal, Man Utd against weaker opposition i.e. Wigan.

Well if you think 4-0 is something I've had 9-0 scores on PES top level and even scored 43 league goals in a season with one player despite PES claiming to be so easy. In the old PES version i.e. PES6, 5.. It would take about 2-3 seasons to actually leave D2 (using the default players) but now it takes a mere season and there are too many free agents so within a season you already have a team capable of winning everything.

PES 2008 is weak in all ways. There is no challenge whatsoever. You can win with any team..
