no i saw the eng v tur game too and saw it. in GAME pro is released on 16th and FIFA on yes, the 24th. By the way I thought Club Football was being released next month. anyway club footie is quite good, i got it today.

Yes, but it provides FIFA open ground on 24th October to market their product. Who knows, maybe they're preparing to launch a huge advertising campaign on the UK market.
Anywho, it's an encouraging sign from EA too. Two years ago, methinks they would have been rushing their title to get it out on the same day as PES.

No, I don't think so. EA is still the world's largest games developer (although R* is catching up mighty fast) by some distance and Konami, well, are still relatively small so EA will always have mass appeal aided by the fact that they launch the game an all next-gen consoles and the PC so, naturally, their profits are still going to be quite high. However, EA can't rely on their market status for long. Soon enough, Konami are going to better their market standing and more and more people are going to buy PES. So EA have to buckle down and improve, otherwise, as far as the football game market is concerned, they could be second best.
