did anyone see the fifa 07 (360) match last night on xleague tv? goodness me that game is so unrealistic, i was so embarrassed by what i was watching that i had to boot up the PS2 n play a couple games of PES6 to get it out my system.

i wonder if they will be releasing a demo before the games out.one of the only games ive seen that didnt release a demo before the games release.

I dont know...Trying to play FIFA for me is just TORTURE!!! It is way too hard to control players and there are a lack of moves in the game. I wouldn't be suckered into EA saying FIFA will blow Pro Evo away in their next game. All of their sports games except for Madden lack substance. This is all part of their marketing scheme to get everybody running to the store on the release date to buy the game thinking it will be the best soccer game ever made when I think they are really going to get the same thing EA has put out the last 3 or 4 years in a row. EA doesnt care though. EA is only about making money and their sports games need some serious help. I'll bet my left testicle this FIFA will be the same old shit.

It would help settle peoples opinions if Konami actually released decent info on the game instead of keeping it all locked up. I hate having to wait for info for these games. All the info on other games comes out and im still left hanging waiting on pes news. If they put a little more money into marketing then talk like this would have no place.

yes i agree, very good point, it happens every year and its frustrating, we have nothing to look forward to, not at the start anyway, more info earlier would be much better

i think they still make the playstation version. anyways i will buy the game when it comes out, not really becuase its fifa but more because its goin to be the first football game in the ps3

^^some of the faces look extremley poor. and its catching on not releasing any info on games.weve barely heard ought for res evil 5,or gta4 or 5 dont remeber which is next:)or asasins creed.theres only a select few releasing info nowadays,like fifa.

The only thing FIFA has over PES, which has been said on many, many occasions, is the licensing.

If you are a 10 year old kid, choosing his first football/soccer based game and you were shown a screenshot of FIFA 08 or PES 7, nine times out of ten the kid will chose FIFA because he can see his hero Rooney wearing the real kit, playing with a real Nike ball and he is wearing his real Nike boots playing in a proper stadium.

PES is for more cultured gamers like all of us on here. We know that gameplay and realism of movments and control is what we are after. If PES could get a few more Leagues fully licensed, it would be Sebass etc saying that PES will thrash FIFA.

But in all our eyes, as the saying goes, less is more........

i hope EA is serious about thrashing PES,coz FIFA 07 is an example of epic failure.i was kinda dissappointed that EA doesn't care anymore about the current gen version,the last fifa 06's graphic is kinda good but fifa 07's went downhill(kinda feel like unfinished game).EA need to do something with the guys at quality control division(does EA even have it??).sequel is supposed to be better than the prequel,but that's not what happen on FIFA series.

I disagree and it is important to have different opinions here in the forum. EA Champions League is not as bad as it is described above. I think it is really the best work from EA in regards to Football. I played the full version on the 360. Of course, it can NOT be compared to PES, PES gaming is the best.

Though I think Konami should pay more attention to the graphics, they have been the same for the past three years at least.

For us, PES fans gaming is more important but take a look at the graphics, the players, the stadium, crowd, players sound in Champions league it is good.

I think nobody would complain if we can have in PES much better graphicas and sound options.

ha ha EA only cares about next-gen nowadays.try the current-gen version & you'll be disappointed.if i only could afford to buy 360,then i don't have to endure the pain of playing current-gen FIFA.

i think the sounds,stadium crowd ect are good and fifa has always had stuff like official chants from the crowd and good stadiums.but the graphics i would say for players are mediocre,no one looks like there counterpart well accept the odd star,everyone is shiny and built like hulk hogan. but like you said it doesnt compare to pes anyways but if pes had more stadiums this time and some good crowd noise,maybe better commentary we would be on the way to another great pes.
