FIFA is truly an awful game.

The animaion is so robotic and you can only score one of four odd ways, which means you see the same goal over and over again.

The net animation and ball physics are also pathetic so you get this slow drawn out afair watching both teams do the same thing.

I got a chance to try out the game. The presentation is top notch, Konami should get some ideas from them. Everything is so grand, the atmosphere is fantastic but the gameplay is something else. The ball physic is just not right, it does not bounce right. One thing I noticed(I have not played a Fifa game for almost two years now) is that they have removed the shooting meter and off the ball is also not there. It is a good move by EA , they are definitely heading in the right direction. On the downside, it is quite unrealistic to see CPU players running here and there as if undecided instead of barging thru a clear path. What really kill the game is that it is not complete. Try kicking the ball out on a corner. It is impossible. Inswingers can be done without any possibility of the ball going out.
