Fifa's "Next Gen engine", So what !!! Fanboys needed

I play on Pc only.I am a new football gamer and i didnt play much of football games earlier. i used to play FPS and Racing games. Recently i have started playing football games and tried both fifa 09 and PeS 09 demo on PC

Fifa 09 looked to me like i m telling the players to do something and then they are doing it whereas in PeS i felt like i myself is playing it. the players responsiveness and the ball movements look like free flowing. In fifa there is a kind of inertia in players body movements and ball dynamics. in fifa the camera angle is so bad and its like playing from a overhead camera and cant be changes but i liked the PES 09s camera. the graphics are much more sahrper in PES. I just dont know why people prefer fifa. Didnt they play PES ? ot its just the blind eyed notion about fifa that its better because it got more teams and things like that. I mean PES seems like enters into your vein after playing one or 2 games but while i played fifa , i felt like its just another disposable game.

FIFA on the PC is TERRIBLE compared to the XBOX 360/PS3 versions.

It is VERY rare you'll find a gamer who can support FIFA on the PC.

Exactly!! I cannot believe people say FIFA09 is realistic.

Maybe the Animations are Realistic -but- the Game certainly is Not. Is it Realistic that Goals are extremely Casual and Easy?? Is it Realistic that every Player and TEAM feels like an Identical Copy?

People saying that FIFA09 is realistic is a shame really, IGN and all the other Magazines that described FIFA09 as the "truest representation of Football" have lost All Credibility to my eyes.

I think that's the Difference between Critics who don't know the 1st thing about Football -and- Actual Football Fans.

Seabass might know How to work with Computers -but- he Definitely needs a Football Expert along side him -because- PES has not progressed at all for the past 4 years.

I'm actually hoping that a Company with some decency Intact comes along -and- gives us a truly Next Gen Football Sim.

Konami and EA Sports just aren't Interested in progressing that much, they do Not need to.. at this Pace, I'm guessing we'll see the 1st Next Gen Football Sim by 2012.

well i understand thats games should be about entertainment value which pro is hence 5,6 nils on 10 minute matches on the top level, whereas in fifa you feel more like you have to dig in and actually create gaps as apose to just float through

edit: lol ive got it ... having never really got stuck into any fifa im probably just shite at it making it seem more realistic... maybe konami could add an extra couple of difficulties for us advanced players
