Well after finally playing the new PES 2011 demo I've got to say Konami seem to have finally made a very satisfying football game for next-gen.
The players don't seem as robotic, the freedom with each individual is a massive boost and finally a passing system that needs you to think a little before playing every ball. No longer does it seem that defenders just step off you and let you score from 30 yards (literally every match), no longer do teams spray the ball around for 90 minutes with ease and quite importantly, the referees seem to have improved too (hopefully I'll have a higher ratio for penalties than the 0.01 on PES 2010).
I could go on all day about the improvements which I'm sure you've seen yourself and although it's only the demo, a lot of encouragement can be taken from it. Finally Konami have done PES justice. I've got to say it's a nice touch to release it the same day as FIFA, I think you can compare them better now.
And I'd just like to finish off on how dire the FIFA 2011 demo is, looks exactly like FIFA 2010 and not a patch on PES.
