Good managing too (Jose Mouriniho), but if Abramovich didnt buy Chelsea they wouldnt have won the trophies. Managers like Avram Grant (who did better than expected, no-one gave him a chance).

I'm not saying (well trying not to say) Chelsea just won trophies because of money, but it has helped.

but man city will never be like chelsea as chelsea were like totenham and i remember that it was a race between liverpool and chelsea....shows how close it is..

Nah can't blame Gomzes & Scotland for leaving, they deserve to play in the Premiership. Gomez is class & Scotland doesn't have many more chances at the big time. Martinez is just full of crap though, the whole "I'll never leave unless they kick me out" bollocks & all the loyalty stuff he said about Bodde staying last summer then he ups and goes, you know it was agreed with Wheelan months ago when they knew Steve Bruce was going.

Hope Gomez & Scotland do well though, really do. Bout time Sousa brought some new players in, we should be OK though when Bodde, Allen & Pratley are back, they're outstanding.

Makes you think though how good PES could be if they got the Championship into the game, licensed or not - I reckon waaaay more people would buy it then - imagine the games you could have online with those teams
