FM 06 Competition - Teams?

Which version are you using? Surely there's a fix for setting overall to something other than the cumulative of all the other training types

What does this mean ? To complicated for me :unsure:

It was clearly a bug in whatever version 6.00 or 6.01 as the overall bar is meant to reflect how difficult the training is from what has been set (so if everything is on intensive, its an intensive training schedule). Any further updates would rectify the problem so you can't do that as its something they never intended you to do.

I'm using the latest version 6.02.

To be Honest Yossi, bar N'Gotty, you done very well in the transfer market and the starting 11 looks quality. I might just put down your results to bad luck to be honest, Eddie Johnson at 1.4m was a steal.

I was gonna get Eddie Johnson aswell. Pineda was so close to joining me too but got denied a work permit. Unlucky Yossi, try starting a new game, some others have so give yourself a second chance.

It might just be the tactics. One thing I've always believed in with this game is that if you're doing badly, it can help to quit and load again. It's worked for me a number of times simply from one day to the next. One minute I was struggling with Sunderland, the next day I loaded up and we started winning.

It's happened to me lots with other clubs in previous versions too. Unless of course its all one big coincidence.

It may not be. I just continued my game with Cadiz, and had lost 6 on the bounce in all competitions when I started it. I just won my first game comfortably.

Can't blame you for quiting there, i would have.
On mine i've managed to sign John Obi Mikel and get N'zogbia on loan. Also man city are top on mine with spurs behind them and man utd are 11th and have lost six.

Just knocked Chelsea out of the League Cup quarter final in extra time with a 3-2 win. To be fair, they were fielding reserve strikers Sinclair, Younghusband and had Huth, Diarra and Geremi also in the starting line-up, but still had a strong team:

A proud day for Sunderland. :happy: I'm now into January and sitting in 2nd place, exeeded my expectations by far, although I don't expect to stay there much longer. I'm aiming for a place in the final of one of the Cups atleast and atleast a top 6 finish now, its achievable in my opinion. I have Everton(A) in the semi-finals of the League Cup. My star striker has 15 goals in 16 Premiership games after being out for months and is the Prem's second top scorer. And I have just about enough money to get some good players to strengthen the team after managing to Caldwell(even though hes in my first team) for 2.5m and some reserves for bits and bobs below to lower league teams. All in all I'm very happy with it, looking to get some money by selling Elliot, wish me luck.

I been on a great run, in friendlies, hehe. Haven't conceded anything. But forward into the League games. First was away to Tottenham, i lost 2-1, late goal by Mido. Then lost at home to Liverpool, by one goal only. But then won away to Middlesbrough, with my new signings getting their goals in a 3-0 win! Basinas, Sosa and Balaban were those new ones. I also managed to get N'zogbia on loan. What else? Oh, im playing West Ham next at home, and im in 13th place. Will post more later.

After 30 games i'm in 4th position. 1 point behind Liverpool who are third, 9 behind man U who are second and 18 behind Chelsea who are first. I was doing really crap at the start of the season but now i'm on a 20 game unbeaten run, it's great! My secret striker is back from injury and scoring goals for fun, still he's just over half the amount of goals behind the top goalscorer Van Nistelrooy, who is on 30. Cups wise, i got knocked out of the League Cup by Man City, lost 1-0. But i'm still in the FA Cup, into the semi-final, i'm looking to win that.

He had like 10 more games than my guy. My guy was top goalscorer untill he got injured, now he's just starting to get his form back and tallying those goals back up.

Lost 2-0 to Everton in the 1st leg of the League Cup Semi Final, going to need a great performance in the 2nd leg to get anything out of the tie. And to make matters worse after being drawn to Chelsea in the Carling, I'm drawn to Liverpool/Newcastle in the 4th round of the F.A.
