Carrick is brilliant for my team, great assists and scores goals. Dawson is poor , king and gardner have a solid partnership at the back.

Nope not cheated once on the game, every year i have won the league and had decent champions league runs, so like a month before the transfer window closes the board always give me something like £7-9million in extra transfer funds, but yet i'm something like £30mil in debt :mellow:

D'Alessandro, Joe Cole, Given, Cisse? Not sure about that Nice signings though, how have you been doing in the CL?

Just signed D'alessandro since his contract was unprotected, but had to pay £17mil....and to get that £17mil i sold Michael Silgado to Real Madrid for £7mil i think, then sold Lovenkrands who was doing amazing to Newcastle for £8mil, then i had transfer funds before i sold them. Joe Cole, Given and Cisse, i done something that i have never done before and that was to pay like £1-2mil up front then pay the rest over 24 months

This is the best i have ever done with Rangers, and about the champions league.

1st season:- Got into last 16 then got beat of Inter
2nd season:- Finished 3rd in my group then got demoted to UEFA Cup and won it with a 1-1 draw against Leverkrusen which i won on penalty's
3rd season:- Currently, just got into UEFA Cup group stages, dam GFK(something like that) knocked me out on away goals:realmad:

Also D'alessandro right now has played 4 games just behind the strikers, has scored 8 goals, 2 against Falkirk, 1 against Aberdeen, 1 against Kilmarnock, and 4 against Celtic

Edit:- If anyone has a club status like Rangers then i recommend that you sign Jari Jarosik, he scores loads.

I usualy signed him in FM2005 aswell (Jarosik) He is good.

Sweet I use this tactic quite a lot. Board demanded I make a big signing and was going to get Wright-Phillips for £4mil upfront and £10mil over 24 months, but in the end just paid £6.5mil upfront for Joe Cole =\ I signed Mido like this though, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford him

Since Waterraus and Klos were getting old and crap i needed a decent keeper and he was the only one that i could afford. Plus he is amazing(even though he supports celtic).

A think he's currently 30 years old but will still do me for another 2 seasons or so since he has been doing good. As you can see in my profile i don't have that much goals against, and thats due to Given and my defence obviously.

In FM2006 i signed a 19 year old keeper 'Joundrey' i think hisname is, good little keeper, must develop tho... played him a few times and pulls off alot of saves... only cost me 35k. Im as Man Utd andi had 5.5m to spend! I soon tunred that to 17m in a few days, in the game.

Should of bought joe lewis from norwich,on my game they sold green on the last day of the transfer market so couldn't replace him so they had to use young lewis,he was third in the goalkeeper of the year and only conceded 26 goals in about 60+ apperances only 17. just think what he'd be like with the man yoo defence infront of him

Ill might buy him then. Much does he cost, Dan? Its harder to win games and every half time team talk i tell my players that i dont want complacency and Rooney goes and points finger at me to the media! FM2006 Demo is class...

Hmm got no idea, hold on king unhappy cause i didnt include him in my champions league squad :blush: he was injured so i put him in the reserves and forgot about him.

I have Joe Lewis in my Norwich team in 2010, but I've never actually played him- he's my third choice and spends all of his time in the reserves, although he's been on the bench a few times.

As for Freddy Adu, he's in my squad too and he's a good squad player, but nothing special, because I have the likes of Downing, Joaquin, Deisler and Aimar as attacking midfielders keeping him out, and Berbatov, Bojinov and Babel up front.
