I was Man Utd in that 2006 Demo. They start with 5.5m and thats crap, so I had to think about selling certain players and as you would know by me tellin you I was undefeated, the sellin strategies worked... ;)

Fuck it! Got knocked out of League cup 2-0 by Manyoo and I got knocked out in FA Cup 3rd round by my own buddies Newcastle 1-0! And it was a cheep goal

Unlucky mate, been playing FM 2005 must of the day, but went on a 3 hour walk :D

Started a new game with Pool and we're playing shit in the league, 7 points from 7 games, Poistion 11

Then we got a pretty hard CL group, Real Madrid, Porto and Hajdunk.

Then i draw Man Yoo out of the hat for the FA Cup......

Lost to Chelsea 2 - 3, come from behing twice in the last 5 mintues then Lampard scored from 30 yards....

Sinama-Pongolle 25 apperances 20 goals, he got called up from France under 21's to a starting striker next to Henry in starting squad, funny though, Cisse got kicked out because of Pongolle :laugh:

Got through to first round of the knock out rounds of CL :D Got drawn againest Inter :(

Won the Super Cup and Inter-Continantel Cup :D

Beat CSKA Moscow 2 - 0 in Super Cup

And

beat some Columbian team 6 - 1 in Inter-Continael Cup :D

No wonder you are all smiles. Im Bolton in FM, i cant even qualify for Europe. Bought two bright youngsters for the reserves, and got the experienced Konstantinou to get goals.. sad to say it hasnt been working a lot. Davies is getting angry for not being able to play.. Dont know what to do now.. maybe sell him off.. need a left midfielder.. thinking about getting malbranque, ;)

For me an unbeatable(unless your keeper is plain crap) formation is 5-4-1. I have too many good strikers to use this formation but if you have one really good striker put him up. EG...

This is the XI that I used mainly for my undefeated streak with Man Utd in the FM2006 Demo. And the rest of my squad too. Due to injuries it wasnt my whole first choice team but its a pretty good team to put out...

Forwards: Larsson, Rossi, Solskjaer, Babel.

I might just add that Rossi is a good player in the new game, lads. And Albertini, Tommasi & Dellas were free. Tommasi and Albertini never played for me & Dellas was handy when I was stuck.
