The Beta Demo is out and comes with the English league. The Vanilla download has the English and Scottish leagues. The strawberry download has 8 languages and 16 different leagues. Game is out October 21, or so we are led to believe at present.

The new FM is brilliant. I have yet to lose a game in it. I enjoy the half time team talks and the fact that you can play mind games with other managers. Brilliant!

I wish they had incorporated an option where you could single out one player in the opposing team for "treatment" - winding up, particularly hard tackling etc.

They could have balanced it with that player possibly being spurred on to perform beyond his ability, the media highlighting it if you did it too often and the relevant FA considering issuing you with a fine or worse for doing it in too many matches. It happens all the time in Brazil, some coaches even admit to doing it.

Fm2006 when talking to the media, theres more options and when making comments theres negative, positive and mind games. Plus at half time/full time you can give you're players a talk ;)

And some of them, like Gilardino for example, start thinking they've made a mistake moving to the club (in this instance Milan). I won 4-1 and instead of saying I was pleased or delighted, I told them I wanted that sort of performance every week. Gilardino was promptly unhappy on three counts while Jaap Stam was unhappy on one - not liking the way I talk to the players. They should count their blessings that I'm not Neil Warnock

Haha. When I was as Man Utd i have half time talks as that i was pleased and just done evrything postivitly... i stayed undefeated like... but I lost it once and made it out like they were crao at half time against Everton, and then I ended up from 3-0 to giving them a good beating ;)

Its all on what you say that depends on how you're team does. If theres nothing to say I say nout.

I think there should be medicals in this game. How many transfers have we seen fail i real life beacuse they failed their medicals. I heard if you do well you can actually negotiate your own contract to stay at the club. True?

We wouldn't be able to find that out from the demo ;)
