Damn Vucinic... his late miss of a sitter means not only do I not win the Serie A but I now drop behind bloody Milan into third! Was an exciting last day of the season though.

I really hope that happens for real this season (replace Vucinic with a Juventus man).

My Napoli side...hmm....beat Acireale 4-2 in my first league game (after going out of the Coppa Italia in the first round with a 2-1 home defeat despite dominating the entire match). Roberto Sosa hit two, and my two striking substitutes Emanuele Calaio and Salas (not Marcelo) each got one. I have no money and my team are devoid of cover at right-back.

The other problem I have is that 31 players between my main squad and under-20s have contracts expiring at the end of the season and none of the main squad players will extend their contract beyond the end of the season.

Ha... I had that in my first season with Fiorentina, well not quite to that extent, I had thought coming second would have made them proud to play for Fiorentina on the contrary it made them think they were good enough to play for Juventus, Real Madrid and Liverpool... etc.

Well both the board and fans are expecting promotion to Serie B (as am I considering how they've done in real life) and I've strengthened the squad so hopefully it'll happen. The money thing will be a problem though. I keep getting offers from Milan, Juventus, Inter, Chievo and Fiorentina trying to take co-ownership of Inacio Pia (a Brazilian striker who loves the club, thanfully) for £1.3m. His value is only £2.2m but I know for a fact that in two years time when it comes around to bidding, I'll struggle to match the offer they make and will lose him easily so for now I'm rejecting and he doesn't mind.

The biggest bollock I've dropped is not trying to get Lino Marzoratti on loan from Milan (he plays at right-back). Perugia went and got him, leaving me contemplating smacking my head off a table for being so stupid.

This was about 6 months ago, so I look at him now with 3 months left on his injury and his stats are useless. For a centre-back his heading has gone from 18 to 10, his marking from 16 to 13, his tackling from 20 to 15. Despite you suggestions he is gone I kept him around for a while, but despite only having light training he got injured again for 2 months. Once he was back I offered him around and he went to Chelsea for £11 million. I spent it on different things including a replacement for Andres Diaz. Diaz was awesome and is the perfect captain, 20 for teamwork, influence and as a DM he had 20s in marking, tackling, heading, passing. He is awesome!:shocking:!


But then I found this lad called Biglia or something who plays for Intenacional. Just as good as Diaz but he has better physical stats, and has better stats in technique and a few others. But his mental stats are far weaker than Diaz. Tough decision between the Captain Fantastic Diaz or the new boy Big whatevever.

Biglia is crap on mine, everytime I've got him he's getting 5 and 6 maybe a 7, his stats are good but he plays crap.

If that is Demouge off Genk or something, then I hate him :angry:. Him and Bob Peters always score against me, they are my bogey players.

I have always found that Man Utd are fairly liberal with their players to loan out, I have had Vidic for 2 years running.

In the Belgian league they have this bizarre award the Player of the week. One of my players won every single week (different players) with some winning 15 weeks running. When I won the league I still had cup matches to go so I dropped all my first teamers. But players I dropped kept on winning the award despite not playing :laugh: . Then after the season when the playoffs were going on with the promoted and reagated teams I still kept winning the award.
