The pointless thing is, as soon as you have spent it all you're given just as much again the next year.
The only reason I'm ever Chewsea is to enable me to compile teams for shits and giggles. Teams full of players with exactly the same name, or players with hillarious names... that sort of thing.

It might be too late but mate, I think I found one of the best young midfielders on the game! His name is Sivok, hes young and plays defensive midfield I got him for about 1m for Aston Villa and hes got 7's and 8's consistently and if he carries on like this im on my way to Europe.Akineye said:
P.S When you look at young promising players go on transfer and sometimes it says they are "dubbed as the next BLABLA". For example I found a young brazillian keeper called Grohe and he was labelled the next Marcos. Also Micah Richards is dubbed the next Sol Campbell, its a nice touch in the game.

The only thing is that those media comparisons VERY rarely turn out to be accurate.
Sivok is quickly developing into a FM2006 legend, and there's already a discussion about him earlier on in this thread. He's definitely an all-rounder for the future, I just wish that I could get Fulham to accept a bid for Diop. He's only worth £3.5 million and they won't accept anything less than £15!
He says he wants to be transfer listed, so I'm biding my time.
I'm also likely to sell Ronaldo this transfer window. Barcelona offered around £50 million for him, and Chewsea say that they're interested too. It'll be with a heavy heart, because it's unreal the amount of 9's and 10 performances he puts in. His average rating for last season is 8.3.
I just want some real money to play with.

pretty mediocre first season for me with Norwich but i feel i've got the bug now.... finished 11th which was very dissapointing.... top scorers in the league with Ashton grabbing 27 in 34... but i was shipping goals for fun so changed to a new 4-5-1 formation and my performances improved dramatically towards the end of the season

Despite being the best defender at the club in real life, he was rather poor on that for me. Played a few games, and so I got shot of him at the end of the season. Went to Reading.
As for Ashton, he scored 37 for me in the first season, and is approaching 30 in January of the second season.
Interesting how you managed to get Jones, I went for him but he ended up going somewhere for quite a bit. However, I managed to sign Serginho for £80k.

Yeah he scored 2 against me, Man City recently bought him for about that on my game. I've got a new transfer target: Lukas Podolski! Im determined to get the "Wonderkid". I think about 12 million should do it if that doesn't work I'm going for Andy Johnson or Defoe! Need a good goalscorer god damn it! :angry: Chelsea are spending quite big straight away with the 15m signing of Moutinho of Sporting and the 11m signing of Vincent Kompany.
